Fantastic weather for our new arrivals this weekend....

When visiting Pembrokeshire, why not visit the smallest city in the UK, St David’s? It has a magnificent cathedral which is visible when walking through the city.

Beautiful evening to enjoy the outdoors at Woody Kiln

What a find!!! This is a really lovely new CL site. Easy to reach going along the new road from Johnston to Tiers Cross (which is not yet on Google Earth). Each pitch has it's own tap and TV/Satellite hook up and there is free super fast WiFi which is excellent. The owners Dean and Sharon are very friendly as are their parents. Whilst on site we had a problem with our caravan step and they loaned us one until we left. On arrival they gave us an information pack including maps of local walks to the beach and pub etc. The beach is about a 20 minute walk whilst the local pub is about a 5 minute walk and also has a small shop and Post Office. We have really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back as there are so many places to visit on this beautiful coast line.

User

We stayed in April for a week, this was our third visit and as ever it was brilliant, the weather was good, no rain. Sharon and Dean are the perfect hosts, so helpful and friendly. The site facilities are second to none. Pembrokeshire throws up different places of interest each time we visit. We are looking forward to September and our return.

User

We stayed here day over the Christmas and New Year break 2016. Dean was so helpful from the first initial enquiry until we left the site. Please please don't be put off by looking on Google maps and seeing the proximity of the Refinery, you do not see it from the site and the location of the C L is perfect. The location and beauty of the surrounding area is marvellous. We took our dog and walked the numerous walks from the site to the beautiful beach, and along the coastal path. The serviced pitches are very enjoyable. We stayed on pitch 5 which had fantastic views across fields and may I add to blue skies, the awning side is South facing which means the sun shines into your awning or doorway, siting outside our caravan in the tranquility and sunshine = wonderful.

Visiting Woody Kiln Farm was my wife and I's first venture into caravanning with our new van and what a fabulous place to start with. Dean and Sharon made us feel so welcome and offered lots of help and support. It's a great location and it's obvious they take great care and pride in it. Little things like a small shop along with a great little information pack that's waiting for you when you first arrive make this a special site and a place I think we'll been going to more often. Oh wait, we have booked another 3 future visits already....can't wait. See you soon guys!

User

This is a really superb CL. We have been caravanning for nearly forty years and this is one of the best we have been on. When you consider how long this has been established it shows how much research went in to its development and Dean is always tweaking things to improve. He will eventually realise there is little more he can do!!

We have been lucky that the weather has been really nice with most of the rain in the night or when we were out and missed it.

Good luck for the future Dean and Sharon but don't get too busy or you won't have room for us.

User

This has got to be the best CL we have ever stayed at in over 25 years of caravaning. It has an excellent view, it is well kept and tidy and excellent value for money for what they provide on their fully serviced pitches. Dean and Sharon are friendly and excellent hosts. They are also dog friendly with a long dog walk.

User

Stunning place fabulous welcome and only been here a few hours, definitely will return x

Pembrokeshire is a favourite destination of ours, though we don't usually use sites this far west. This CL is one of the best, worthy of the awards gained in such a short time since opening. The owners seem to have thought of everything. Well laid out, with the convenience of water, 16 amp hook-up, plus digital and satellite TV points on all pitches. The whole site also had the benefit of superfast wi-fi. All for just one pitch fee, and way below that charged by most CL's. A personalised welcome pack was waiting for us on the pitch, which contained a lot of colourful information on local attractions and amenities. The area around the CL is quiet and well-placed for access to the unspoilt coastline of the Dale peninsula, so ideal for nature-lovers. The more 'touristy' hot spots of Tenby, Oakwood, Folly Farm etc are easily reached, but if you have young children in your party, you may possibly find Woody Kiln Farm is too remote to visit them every day. We were on site at the end of October and work was in progress to install a grey-water drain on each pitch. Surely a site worth visiting, as there will be more facilities on your pitch than at some so-called 'super pitches' on club sites. I can't think of anything else Dean can do to ensure you have a relaxing stay, short of delivering a cooked breakfast to your van, or providing a service to empty your waste tank at the elsan point!!!! Now that WOULD be a 'first' on a CL.

User

Our 2nd visit to this lovely CL as we resume our efforts to complete the Coastal path.

But we sometimes chat on thier Facebook page.
