Cadet’s and Staff from 2279 (Wrexham) Sqn recently trained with the L98A2 Cadet Rifle. Over the weekend Cadet’s were able to become qualified to use the rifle and eligible to fire it in the future.

The NCO team is growing.and the Sqn looking good on final parade

Our Sector Commander Sqn Ldr Kent welcomed our newest cdt Cpls to the Sqn. Well done on your promotions and now your development begins in the NCO role.

It has been a tradition at 2279 Squadron that NCO’s upon leaving sign the ‘NCO Board’ to consign there name to history. The board contains names from as far back as 1963.
