Huge congratulations to Delwyn Derrick and all the players at Bellevue FC, at Bellevue Park, as they have been shortlisted for the Football V Homophobia award, in recognition for their great work they do supporting LGBTQ rights in football and their surrounding community. They will travel to Altrincham in early February to see if they win the award for Welsh football. They will rub shoulders with the likes of Bournemouth AFC and Tottenham Hotspurs FC. This is great for our town! And we have a soft spot for the club as they are our most local side (To the Conservation Area) and our only Town Centre club, and we fully respect their club ethos of football for all.
