Wrexham Energy Centre

The new Wrexham Energy Centre will be purpose built to meet the local electricity and gas needs of the businesses on the Wrexham Industrial Estate. The scheme will marry together a consented gas power plant, a 20 + acre solar farm and the latest in battery storage technology to provide a greener and cheaper solution to the WIE's energy needs. The infrastructure necessary to build the centre will also offer numerous wider benefits to the estate including: • A network of electric vehicle charging points• Improved digital and telecoms infrastructure across the estate with new high speed optic cables• New Wi-Fi hotspots across the estate
