Waited for 4 hours before coming home without being seen. My daughter had whiplash and glass in her eye, saw the nurse after an hour who gave pain relief and said that we should be seen in approx. 90 mins. Still not seen 3 hours later, no TV or radio on for people waiting (including children) chairs uncomfortable, no access to food, drinks machine broken. Receptionist couldn't give any idea when she might be seen, dozens of people waiting. Came home in the end as had to sort family out, receptionist didn't seem concerned we were leaving. No updates or indications how long you can expect to wait, absolutely soul destroying, lots of people in pain and not being seen, awful service and total lack of information given to waiting people, we could still be waiting there.

Amazing staff do amazing things at this place. Please think what more they could achieve with a budget increase!

Waited 12 months after referral to have a cataract operated on. Now nearly 2 years after referral I'm still waiting for my 2nd eye to be done. My close friend who lives in Chester had both cataracts done 6 weeks after referral. I guess living in Wales we're expected to blind? Talk about postcode lottery

Catalogue of issues that has too be monitored managers need too manage..staff need too listen to patients not what they perceive the patient to be..people go too hospital if unwell and shoulnd not be prevented from seen the right doctor or consultants re they symptoms prevention is better than missed conceptions leading too poor and lack of communication skills..if your lucky you shall be seen by the right medic if not your perceived as an issue its a real shame when they have the facilities that are not used as much as should they blamme the cuts so why do some get treated appropriate and others don't if they don't like they jobs employ other people that have the taken the oath too do so why play god? Why are good medics leaving? Think about that which there has been many at the hospital..paramedics and head staff do the work they signed too do whilst the others just rule the figures for the health board

Waited 8 hours in a & e (9 if you count time before triage) with a 76 yr old who was in a lot of pain after a fall, told on arrival 3 hr wait after 3 hrs told 8 hr wait, don't blame staff but management need to earn their large pay packets and get it sorted, we left at 2.10 am another elderly lady (85 +yrs was still waiting sitting in a wheelchair!!)
Vending machines only sold drinks and no food to be had.anywhere
Lots of people gave up and went home
What will it take for some thing to be done about these unacceptable waiting times '?

Bn there for something last wk or 2. To b waiting for hrs to b seen and to b told my dreams nothing wrong it's in my head. Tonight go there samething wait for hrs to then b called back in by triage nurse to b made ur wasting their time and y am I there? As noticed bn there few times lately. Way I was spoken too was awful. Do they think I go there for fun of it and wait for hrs for fun of it and to go there with my 2 1/2 yr old in pushchair for no reason. I'd have her in bed sleepingif nothing was wrong. I'm bouncing as come home not being seen as bn made to feel as if I shouldn't be there. Staff need to b taught how to speak to people. Extremely poor service and bad attitudes there.

Superb staff. Nice hospital, shame the Tory party are ripping the heart out of social care.

My experience at this hospital has been just about the best l have ever come across. Staff that make you feel like a human being and not a pain to get rid of. You are treated with respect and careing unlike some other hospitals l have had to visit. Smiles just come naturally to the staff and so does curtesy. This hospital is a model to learn from and they should be recognised for their kindness and care.

Nice big hospital in North Wales, having lots of facilities, cordial doctors, nurses and others.
