First Toddler Day of the season coming up!

Fantastic programme of events and activities for the upcoming Darganfod//Discover science discovery weekend!
Our pop-up on Henblas Sq will be open all weekend with a hands-on exhibition from Cancer Research Wales, PLUS a Techzone drop in at Town Sq and live science show in Tŷ Pawb on Saturday 27th, AND we'll be at 'Big Universe' in Tŷ Pawb on Sunday evening with our planetarium and telescopes!

Any local mates with littlies, the Toddler day at Techniquest Glyndwr makes a great change to a playbarn! You should give it a go if you're off on a Monday, or one to let the Grandparents know about if they're looking after them that day

Went here with my 3 year old daughter. Staff were very friendly, it was quiet due to comicon but the staff didnt look bored and were very engaging. Was nice having a little chat in general to about the area as we are from Manchester way, even seen ‘heath ledger’. Great day for the kids to just explore different things and the show was funny too.

We took our three children ,9,5,and older child 41.loads for the children to do. My youngest loved it trying things more than once . Could keep up with him older children was amazed . Not one arguement or kick off.

We took our 7 and 3 year old boys for an hour or so....4 hours later we dragged them away. It cost us £20 to get in, far cheaper than anything else in the UK on a rainy day. Lots and lots to see and do and the university cafe was cheap too....lunch and drinks x 4 for £12.50! Bargain. Brilliant day out and you get an offer on the wristbands to return too. Highly recommend �

Visited today for the first time with my sister, nephew (8) and mum - they'd been before and loved it. It totally exceeded my expectations! Had so much fun and was also really amused seeing all the adults intrigued in the puzzles too. Saw the Bubbles and Bangs show at 1pm and it was superb - I was genuinely wowed and the presenter was so great especially with kids. What an absolute gem on our doorstep!

Visited here with my two children, they had a great time, reasonably priced and lots to do for a couple of hours.

Took my children to techniquest for the day yesterday since the weather hasn’t been great. An indoor alternative to the usual softplay. Had a great day. All the children loved it. The staff were all on hand and very helpful. Would definitely recommend :)

Myself my 2 daughters and my in laws had a great day. We thoughly enjoyed the show on space 🚀. Definitely recommend it to family and friends

Love this place, a nice safe place where kids and run around explore everything and have fun � great that you can take your own picnic to eat in or out helps save' s on the pennies � it's fantastic for all ages we have grandsons ages 2, 7, and 12 and they never get board they just love it there ���

There is so much to do here and the children learn so much without even realising! The staff are amazing and so helpful and make science and maths cool and fun to learn! Fast forward to having a 4 year old who questions EVERYTHING and we have ourselves a fantastic, fun filled day out. My little one LOVED it. Even helped in the Bubble show. Will definitely go again... I've been asked if he can go back already!

Fantastic museum - every element is hands on, I’m a childminder and brought children aged 1,2,3 and 7 - they all loved every room! We travelled from Telford and were at Techniquest for around 4 hours. Everyone really enjoyed the Operation Earth show. We will definitely be back!

Excellent day out took my 11 year old with three friends and my 7 year old ... the engineering show was brilliant ... a great day out throughly enjoyed by all and reasonably priced

Excellent centre for play, exploration and problem solving children loved it we spent 2 hrs in the morning, we nipped out had lunch then went back to see the rest and spent another 2 hours!

The shows are great we have seen 2 on different occasions, will definitely go back at a later date only £19 for an adult and 2 kids much cheaper than lots of other places to visit and spend a whole day!

The science show that is included in the entrance fee was really good fun as was the guy who did it. He knew how to keep the kids amused.

A few of the machines were not working which was a shame which is why I did not give 5 stars.

Visited yesterday with my 5 & almost 3 yr olds and they had a blast. In particular the science show about gases was fantastic-perfect length & level of detail to keep them engaged. Us adults were pretty impressed with the experiments too!



My only criticism is that I’d like to see a couple of new hands on exhibits occasionally. We’d visit a lot more often if they changed them up occasionally.

Techniquest Glyndwr is a wonderful place to explore with your children. The interactive exhibits provide wonder and problem solving for all stages/abilities while the shows are informative but always entertaining too. The kids love helping in the shows. The people who work there are always welcoming, helpful and good with the youngsters. My only quibble is that they could really do with a good cafe!

Great place to visit to exercise thinking, exploration and problem solving skills. Great for all ages and capabilities. We enjoyed our random visit on a very rainy day! Working together to problem solve! Fun had by all!

Good activities for children to learn, loved the show. Only disappointing thing we had was other people's children running around. It's a place we're children should have a parent to talk about why things happen and not left to run around freely and kick balls around. At one point a family we're playing manhunt as parent sat and gossiped but of course that is not down to the setting but to the parents allowing this to happen. Even though this is discussed on arrival. All in all my children did enjoy the day and we will return another time.

Lovely day out with my husband and 5 year old. We all really enjoyed the space talk, it was really well presented. It's great that you allow people to take their own food as my daughter loves a picnic!

Love this place, a nice safe place where kids and run around explore everything and have fun � great that you can take your own picnic to eat in or out helps save' s on the pennies � it's fantastic for all ages we have grandsons ages 2, 7, and 12 and they never get board they just love it there ���

Kids of all ages love this place - me and my husband love taking the kids here as we truly are entertained as are the kids! There is so much to do here and the children learn so much without even realising! The staff are amazing and so helpful and make science and maths cool and fun to learn! I visited Techniquest when I was a student at the University and didn't think much of it. Fast forward to having a 4 year old who questions EVERYTHING and we have ourselves a fantastic, fun filled day out. My little one LOVED it. Even helped in the Bubble show. Will definitely go again... I've been asked if he can go back already!

I took my three children aged 2, 4 and 8. It's hard to find a day out they all enjoy. But this was great. They all had a brilliant time and want to go back again. Got my family ticket on Groupon excellent value.

Yesterday I took my own kids and they loved it too.

Had a fabulous 3 hours here today with my 16 year old with Autism and my 10 year old we all loved the hands on experience and great show lovely quality family time, the staff were really helpful and informative too!

Greta fun to be had for kids and parents ;-) shoes are really interactive and fun and staff are lovely and fab with kids. We love it!

First time for us and I found this a great day out I couldn't believe that for four hour's three children were kept entertained no Sqabling, no sulking all enjoying trying the experience of the experiments The demonstration was facilitated very well with a lot of humour and child interaction the staff very friendly and helpful Well done. Fantastic museum - every element is hands on, I’m a childminder and brought children aged 1,2,3 and 7 - they all loved every room! We travelled from Telford and were at Techniquest for around 4 hours. Everyone really enjoyed the Operation Earth show. We will definitely be back!

Excellent day out took my 11 year old with three friends and my 7 year old ... the engineering show was brilliant ... a great day out throughly enjoyed by all and reasonably priced

Excellent centre for play, exploration and problem solving children loved it we spent 2 hrs in the morning, we nipped out had lunch then went back to see the rest and spent another 2 hours!

The shows are great we have seen 2 on different occasions, will definitely go back at a later date only £19 for an adult and 2 kids much cheaper than lots of other places to visit and spend a whole day!

Brilliant day out for people of all ages! I took my 3 nephews and we spent a good few hours there. The space show was great! Well worth the money

Absolutely loved the toddler day, my little girl loved the story time and all the mirrors! Definitely will come again.

Absolutely brilliant time had for my son's 7th birthday party today . He and his friends enjoyed every minute! The staff are so so helpful and welcoming and the zones are fab , the It's a Chemystery! show was really really good fun . Thankyou I would definitely recommend and will be returning soon !

A great place to spend a few hours, and at a very good price. Our daughters aged 3 and 6 love coming here. The shows/demonstrations are always well done, and there are so many things to play with.

We enjoyed our afternoon here. Lots of different hands on things to try for the kids, and the mums and dads too.

It was not too busy so we got the chance to have a go on most things without having to wait for others to finish.

The science show that is included in the entrance fee was really good fun as was the guy who did it. He knew how to keep the kids amused.

A few of the machines were not working which was a shame which is why I did not give 5 stars.

Visited yesterday with my 5 & almost 3 yr olds and they had a blast. In particular the science show about gases was fantastic-perfect length & level of detail to keep them engaged. Us adults were pretty impressed with the experiments too!



My only criticism is that I’d like to see a couple of new hands on exhibits occasionally. We’d visit a lot more often if they changed them up occasionally.

Techniquest Glyndwr is a wonderful place to explore with your children. The interactive exhibits provide wonder and problem solving for all stages/abilities while the shows are informative but always entertaining too. The kids love helping in the shows. The people who work there are always welcoming, helpful and good with the youngsters. My only quibble is that they could really do with a good cafe!

Great place to visit to exercise thinking, exploration and problem solving skills. Great for all ages and capabilities. We enjoyed our random visit on a very rainy day! Working together to problem solve! Fun had by all!

Good activities for children to learn, loved the show. Only disappointing thing we had was other people's children running around. It's a place we're children should have a parent to talk about why things happen and not left to run around freely and kick balls around. At one point a family we're playing manhunt as parent sat and gossiped but of course that is not down to the setting but to the parents allowing this to happen. Even though this is discussed on arrival. All in all my children did enjoy the day and we will return another time.

Excellent day my 3 children loved it all, my youngest got picked to help in the spooky science and loved every minute. They've been twice this wk in half term with grandparents on Monday & myself today.

First time I've been and wouldn't go back to be honest, it was ok to pass a few hours but became quite boring quite early on and didn't really learn anything new to what I was taught in school
