Y Gwynedd Inn & Bunkroom

Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and good service. 10/10 for the stack burger and steak and ale pie. And the bar man was awesome aswell. :)

Comfy enough and in a fantastic location on Llanberis high street. Most rooms has an ensuite bathroom too even if you're sharing in a room of 6. Not too far from the start of the Llanberis route either if you're thinking of climbing Snowdon. Guests receive 10% off their food and drinks bill at the downstairs bar.

We had no complaints, until the day off our departure, when we were told that we 9, they agreed to refund half the breakfast cost. This really put a damper on what had been a great weekend! We think the real reason for this upset was due to the fact there were only five people including us for breakfast that morning, and was not cost effective! If they had told us this in advance and offered us a refund for the breakfast this complaint would be a compliment!

Stayed in the bunkroom which was clean and serviceable but quite overpriced for what was on offer. Toilet/shower opens right onto room; would be a bit awkward sharing w strangers. Towels cost extra. Three stars for the friendly, rural feeling pub full of Welsh speakers down below.

Got a 6 bed bunkroom here on our trip to Snowdonia. The inn is situated in Llanberis providing good access Snowdon and surrounding activities. The staff were very accommodating and provided towels on request. Room has large bathroom, TV and is quite clean.
