Amazing food that will excite your senses. Can't say enough how tasty the food is and how friendly the staff are.

Came here for a family celebration - a group of 10 adults and 3 children. We had our own room upstairs, which meant that we didn't have to worry about disturbing other customers. The food was excellent, the atmosphere homely, staff were friendly and served us through the medium of Welsh. Ardderchog. Diolch yn fawr!

I've never written a review before but thought I needed to share how good this meal was!
Perfect....taste, presentation, texture and service was outstanding. A truely memorable meal. Thank you.

This is an amazing place. The food is fantastic and the staff strike a perfect balance between fun, friendly and professional. Some of the best food this side of the English channel. It's at the higher end of the pub price range, but far below the lower end of the Michelin star price range, and their food definitely is up there with the latter. A beautiful mix of simple British and French classic cooking, and the best bread I have ever tasted.

5 star experience, been looking forward to trying out this restaurant for a long time. It was beyond my expectations. Absolutely delicious food, excellent ambience and the staff were at the top of their game. I'll definitely be returning.

A really good gastropub with the emphasis on gastro rather than the pub. The staff have always welcomed us warmly and been very accommodating. The food is excellent, extremely well cooked and balanced without being overly fussy. We always go if we're in the area

Superb food, especially Sunday lunch selection at a fixed price. Very nice surroundings, good ambience. Very friendly and helpful serving staff. Good beer. Plenty of parking.

Outstanding food along with fantastic service. Quite expensive so -1 star but you do get the quality you pay for which is refreshing these days! Recommended.

Truly wonderful food, and lovely attentive staff, the home made focaccia type bread was gorgeous and we weren't the only coupke asking for seconds of it. Well done and thank you.

Visited here with my partner this evening. I had not been to this pub in a very long time. It used to be my local "go-to" family Sunday lunch pub. I though I'd give it a go again.

The review: A very warm welcome, with extremely homely and welcoming staff, I really couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome. The atmosphere was delightful - quite romantic and cozy, the food was fantastic, and really filled me up. The steak was probably the best I have had in a very long time, and the chocolate fondant pudding was delicious, despite being a bit rich. One complaint - The price £££. I don't mind paying a bit more for good food, but I think you charge too much (despite the high quality of the food). Over-priced for what you get. A pint of coke for £6!!!, and I can't see how you can justify charging an additional £4 for chips to be served with the steak?! This was cheeky to be honest. I won't be coming back too soon simply due to what you charge!

Food and service - 10/10
Price (sorry) - 5/10.
