Y Ty Gwyrdd has been created to offer an inspiring, inclusive and welcoming space for the local community to come together to socialise, shop local, reduce environmental impact, increase well being, provide a venue for hosting fun community activities that promote reducing, reusing and recycling, and include arts and crafts. Founder Marguerite Pearce, is a mum of two very active, inquisitive young girls, and Director of small family Environmental Consultancy with her husband Steve. The family have a passion for the outdoors, nature and protecting the environment. Over the years she has researched and tested environmentally friendly products for personal use. Marguerite believes people are interested in reducing their impact on the environment and protecting the natural world around them. To drive progression, she believes there needs to be more options available at affordable prices, and more opportunities to facilitate a circular economy.
