This stunning, 16th century public house has been at the heart of Llanfwrog life for several centuries, having served travellers and locals on the outskirts of the beautiful medieval market town of Ruthin for nearly 500 years.

Our historic Grade II listed building has recently undergone a major refurbishment, bringing the inn and the facilities on offer up to date without losing any of the charm and character that have made it such an enduring and enchanting feature of the picturesque Vale of Clwyd for hundreds of years.

We still have some exciting improvements to come, including a brand new garden with 6 individual patios, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

The bar itself offers a fantastic selection of draft beers and lagers - including locally produced ales from the renowned Buzzard Brewery - while our impressive wine list has been hand-picked for us by our very own wine importer.
