UPDATE: I was back again for two nights,19 and 20 June, so I could spend a day at Cors Dyfi. I can only add that the breakfast I had at the Hostel, before leaving for home, kept me going all the way to Shrewsbury Station.
I’m a wildlife & nature lover, rambler and amateur photographer and Borth is ideal. My second visit was from 15th to 19th May 2017 and it keeps getting better. The Hosts are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Good people. This Edwardian house is full of character and kept spotlessly clean and in good repair. There is a well-equipped self-catering kitchen with tea, coffee and sugar provided. I don’t remember seeing this anywhere else. The lounge has some seriously comfortable furniture and a large-screen TV but, with the available views, a telly is not required IMHO. (I think the TV was only used by the Night Manager). The dining room is comfortable and roomy with nice furniture and sea views. My roomy, second-floor dormitory ran the full width of the building so you have sea-views and sunsets from one window and sunrises, salt marsh and distant mountains from the other. Toilets and shower rooms are kept well equipped and, like the rest of the Hostel, spotless. There is a bus stop outside the hostel and the Railway Station is only a 10-minute walk along the front. All this and Red Kites. Amazing!!
Thanks very much for an enjoyable Easter weekend, came here with the West Mids Walking Group and really enjoyed myself, clean, comfortable and good customer service, hope to come back soon

Stayed at YHA Borth for two night and had a great stay! The owners made us feel very welcomed and the facilities were more than we expected. Will definitely be coming back :)
