After the @yhaofficial summer camps gave our August a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, September is now here and between the sound of the wind/stream and our chilled soundtrack Autumn looks like a month to relax and enjoy the @peakdistrictnt

Went to a Family Activity Weekend. Amazing leaders Andy and Kirsty looked after us, kept us laughing and coaxed us all in to conquering our fears. At £120 pp for 2 nights fully catered including 6 activities, excellent value. Hostel and room lovely and clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Scenery breath- taking........ I will be back as soon as I can.

User

Vibrant Atmosphere in a great location. Great food and comfy Bed for great Price. The staff were friendly and you can cook for yourself if you wish in the self catering kitchen. There is a bike store. Edale is also an activity centre so there was lots going on. Would definitely use again.

Superb location for walking, biking or just chilling.

Hostel very clean.

Staff very helpful and chatty.

Made to feel very welcome.

Kinder scout is within a couple of hours at a steady pace which ever route you decide on.

Pau the extra for the breakfast as it's worth it to set you for the day ahead.

User

Perfect setting and very clean. Can't recommend it highly enough. Will definitely go back.

Only stayed a night but staff and accommodation fantastic

User

My 3 children (8, 6, and 3 years old) and I stayed here for the night last weekend, we had a family room without the ensuite - 3 bunk beds and a sink ... kids were in heaven, and actually, it was an incredibly comfortable sleep for me too (any sleep is a bonus, and a got almost a full night's sleep here, which is unheard of at home!)

The hostel was a lovely old house in beautiful grounds, quite out of the way - we plan to return and enjoy the setting more.

All the staff we dealt with were brilliant - a smooth check in, great evening meal and breakfast was superb.

The lounge and games rooms were brilliant, children and adults were catered for. There were sofas scattered about the communal areas which were comfy.

We didn't use any of the additional facilities, so cannot comment on those.

We are planning to return and maybe try some of the activities the centre offers.

Thank you for a fantastic stay and making my children and I more than welcome.

Amazing location and bargain value. The food was good, and the footpath out the back led up a lovely little stream. I'll be back with my bike, and walking boots for sure.

User

Amazing and welcoming. Couldn't have been a better space for what we needed. Thanks to everyone at YHA Edale. And sorry if we were rowdy!!

User

User

Absolutely beautiful place. Great for walking and cycling. Stunning views and great hostel to stay in. Met lovely people. Beautiful Buxton near by and lots to see and do. Highly recommend Edale for walkers and cyclist.

User

Great location for hikes & activities, beautiful scenery all around.very polite and helpful staff. Shame about the trek to the self service kitchen be aware there are 92 steps up to the cottage.

User

A great stay at YHA Edale. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable accommodation and good showers. Self catering kitchen was the only let down as it was quite small given the size of the place. Good beers and coffees! We stayed during heavy snow and the staff team did an excellent job of keeping the drive clear and allowed us some slack wrt checking out when we weren't sure whether or not we were stranded.
