fWe love the Sunday dinner here! The children love the play area and the food has also been great for adults and children. we attended a wedding there Saturday and this was also great! Certainly a place i recommend for families! Lovely place

came last Sunday when it was kids eat free. absolutely lovely meals. couldnt fault them! hoping you continue the promotion. we will definitly be back!

What a fabulous warm and friendly pub this is. We've been several times now and the food is always excellent. Friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble. I suspect they have a seriously good chef in their kitchen as the food is not only cooked to perfection but also shows a lot of flair on their varied and exciting menu. Nice open fire and the landlady with the tatts is warm and welcoming too...Hot! 10/10 'We'll be back!' as Arnie say's! ;-) <3 XXX

Well deserving of my 5 stars shame I can't give more, aboulsty stunning meal tonight lamb shank cooked to perfection cut with the fork melt in the mouth fab sevace definitely coming again

We found this lovely little gem quite by accident after seeing their sign on the roundabout! How lucky we were. The staff were friendly, the food was absolutely delicious and the whole place was warm and welcoming. We would definately visit again.

Just got to say we had the most wonderful wedding here on Saturday. The staff were amazing the food & service were superb, would have no question in recommending here to anyone. All our guests agreed the food was wonderful too. That's one of the main reasons we booked it. It's also a lovely pub with nice outside area. The rooms upstairs also excellent. All in all fabulous time had by all. Thank you so much Tracey & Justin and all the staff too. We will never forget our wonderful & special day. It was all & more than we could ever have wished for xxxxx

If heaven exists in a little part of south Wales it could quite possibly be here. Staff friendly and accommodating, room was lovely and welcoming to tired traveller's. Food was really good with big servings. Had a little wait for food due to the place being so busy on a Saturday night. But quess that just shows how good the place is. Six star service on a five star system :)

I stayed here with all my family and friends on the 22 September 2017 as I was getting married the next day at craig y nos castle, the staff couldn't do enough for us, the food was fantastic! We were an hour late getting there for our meal as we were stuck in traffic but it wasn't a problem for them! Breakfast was amazing, would highly recommend.

I love this place , child friendly. Clean toilet. Good food. Dog friendly. And good prices!

Warm friendly atmosphere and the food was delicious

Also the availability of a takeaway Sunday lunch as my daughter was working is great

Fab friendly family environment with yummy home cooked food. Tried pheasant for the first time off the specials menu and it was absolutely delicious. Proper home made scrummy desserts, highly recommend the lemon & white chocolate cheesecake, it's a must :)

Empty of a lunchtime in week but staff and food excellent. Nothing was to much trouble for lady who served us, we were made very welcome. It was nice and warm there on a rainy day. Definitely go back there.

Beautiful sunday lunch today. Very nice welcoming pub. We will be definatley returning. Only this was i would of rathered garden peas instead of mushy peas. But overall lovely food

If I have to be honest. Myself and my family went this week for a meal and i was dissapointed. I have been before and really enjoyed the meal, and this is why we returned. Unfortunately,the meal I had was awful. I had sausage and mash, the mash was lumpy, the gravy was like jelly and the sausages were over cooked. My daughters meal was not the best either.

Not impressed with this place, waited an hour and ten minutes for our food. Couldn't chew the meat in steak and ale pie. Wouldn't go back there

Called in for dinner on our way home, just after 7pm, Thursday 21st April. Really sliw service. Drinks finally arrived and I will give credit where credit is due, both the Rose and Red wine were good. Ordered food and after another prolonged wait it arrived. My burger was good - my husband's chicken and mushroom pie was below average - barely any chicken and lukewarm. My poor mother had ordered fish and chips. When it arrived it was greasy and she couldn't get a knife through the batter. Seriously over cooked. Now, having worked in the restaurant business what the hell was the chef thinking sending out a dish that any fool could see was cremated!! It was taken away and eventually another one brought by which time my husband and I had finished and the thought of the fish had turned on my mother . The owners of this establishment need to seriously review their staff - I seriously doubt that the chef they have is qualified. Absolutely abysmal will never go back and what was a contender for a family function later in the year is now down the pan!
