Yoyo & Mikey Skadoosh John held there first joint venture competition and what a success 22 athletes with well over 56 spectators. Organising any comp is stress full as we can not predict the weather. @ yoyos we are lucky as well as out side yard area we have a events lean too do weather was a issue but did not stop play. What an amazing place and an amazing environment...it's worth travelling to yoyos gym!not like any other gym I have been in.it has everything you need in there to reach your goals.Not only does it have the kit it also has ieuan with all his knowledge about bodybuilding and strongman/woman events.i can say I've found a friend for life with ieuan.

Took my daughter to yoyo's today for her to have a taste of what's involved in strong woman events and it was fantastic, she was explained and shown everything and every question was answered , even in the heat and dripping in sweat she was grinning like mad and wants to go back for more ,, to hear that from a 17 year old shows how good it was ,, thank you for a fab few hours ��

This gym has everything you need. Not just an amazing strong man centre but also a fully functional Olympic weight training set up with Cardiovascular equipment aswel.

You won't find a better gym in Pembrokeshire!

There's just about everything you could ever want (let alone need) here to advance your training whether you're a regular local, or travelling and looking for a temporary gym to call home. Strongmen/Strongwomen and Bodybuilders will love this facility in particular, as will anyone with both a training goal and a pulse. Very well thought-out layout with excellent personal service. Good showers/toilet facilities too. All in all this gym is certainly amongst the best in Wales. A hidden gem. Well done Yoyo for such a fantastic, friendly service.

My favourite gym in South West Wales, wish it was closer to where I live, but more than prepared to travel the extra miles to train in an awesome old school bodybuilders gym, which has something for everyone, be it bodybuilding, strongman, or strength and conditioning. Great atmosphere and always good advice at hand from Yo Yo, who lives and breathes strength sports and has dedicated his life to it. Thoroughly recommend the gym to anyone, near or far to it.

Just attended the free strong women’s trial event at yoyo’s gym and loved it! The coaching was amazing, such attention to detail! I thought I’d be way out my depth but actually surprised myself and I can’t wait to go again! Amazing facility in the heart of Wales! Totally recommend

Defiantly recommend using this gym to anyone who really is into strongman training. Got the correct equipment for everyone's needs and even got a really good gym inside as well. Also Ieuan is a real true gentleman who will give up his time to everyone who seeks advice on training! Will be looking to visit the venue again in the near future for training and competitions.

There is every bit of equipment you need and you get the bonus of first class advice from the man himself. Plus when do you get to tell someone you can lift a car!

As I drove through the countryside of West Wales to visit Yoyo's place for the first time, I didn't expect to come upon a facility of such quality. This place is like a jewel in the desert. Not only does it have every piece of equipment you could possibly want, (the plans for future development will only increase this) the real gem is found not in the kit, but in the man of YoYo himself. For strongman and body building enthusiasts in West Wales, we are blessed to have a person of such quality on our doorstep.



Experience and knowledge knocks years off the learning curve, and when the future strongman workshops kick off in the future, people will start to see what is available.

An absolute amazing setup not just for specialist strongman/woman training but a fun safe environment for all forms of personal progression. This place is already head and shoulders above any other Welsh gym in my opinion and with the epic plans afoot this is a place to watch! Can't wait to get back down to the gym 150miles round trip is nothing to train in such a facility. Great atmosphere, great people and awesome ethos.
