Large nice Wetherspoons. Good food including breakfast. No on site parking. But plenty to the side.

Great pub situated in the old railway station building with views onto the platform. Not exactly posh, but great food, served fairly quickly, and a nice pint at a nice price. Very good and not expensive.

Staff were lovely however tables needed a wipe. Huge pile of dirty glasses (photo shows this) left on show. No spirits available to make a mojito or long island Iced tea (they had run out). A member of staff's 2 small children were running around and screaming both inside and out with no shoes on..A man at the bar ( a regular ) complained to staff about this as he was concerned for their safety . However the food was good and staff were really lovely. Although maybe could have done without hearing swearing from one of the bar staff who had a swift drink with his mate when he came off duty ( thinking of the children running around)

Excellent service. I use the app to order my food instead of going up the bar as I've noticed the food comes so much quicker. Never been dissapointed by this place. Food and drinks are affordable. Staff are polite and helpful. Will definitely recommend.

Very busy but many serious and avoidable problems. One staff member was making jugs of cocktails for 20 minutes reading the ingredients from the menu. She tried her best but none of her colleagues thought to help her or swap roles. One of the back staff smashed a glass and spent 15 minutes loudly laughing with her colleagues about how she was nowhere near it. Why didn't the duty manager tell her to get back to work? Another took time out from clearing tables to balance a fork upon a colleague's shoulder and yell 'for forks sake!'. Is this the professionalism you expect when queues are long and many tables were full of uncleared crockery? Waiting staff did not know where any of the outside tables were and seemed to just wander whilst holding plates of food, hoping for the best.

The overall impression was that
the staff were under trained and fundamentally didn't realise or care that the service was dreadful. Once again, in busy times you can accept queues but there was no excuse for the unprofessional attitude of a number of the staff.

Duty manager, please take back control.

Great prices. Order at the table via smartphone

I used the Wetherspoons app for the first time. Sign up is easy then you just put in your table number food an drink you want an it's all bought to the table within minutes (very impressed) even though it was really busy. Great service at a reasonable price!! all paid for on line via PayPal. There are other payment methods available card etc. I just wish it was closer to home as I would be using the pub often.

Nice staff, nice food, nice drinks, clean, good area i.e next to taxi rank and train station and in the centre of town.
