Excellent range of real ales . Good wine and pies. The live folk music being played one night was of a very high quality indeed.

Bit on the expensive side for a small town pub

We were lucky enough to come across this hidden gem when we were looking for a reasonably priced and quiet place for lunch. The food was excellent and great value, I recommend the Moo pie (mustard mash and minted peas, its a winner!). The selection of beers is also good. The kids also enjoyed their food!! Would definitely recommend.
