Lovely to see YJB revision club buzzing this morning with Miss Stafford serving hot chocolate to the students. There are sessions from 8.00am every morning in the library for students wishing to revise with a hot drink and company. Sixth Former James is always on hand as a "revision buddy" and on Thursdays Mr Laws holds a chemistry revision session. Feel free to join!!

These Year 11 students have made it through to the 2nd round of Cyber Discovery. They completed the first Assess stage with success and will now have 3 more stages to complete - Game, Essential and Elite. Each stage will get more difficult as they move on and they have until May to complete as many challenges as possible! Well done Gracie, Dylan and Jamie.
Cyber Discovery is HM Government's free, online, extracurricular programme turning teenagers across the country into cyber security experts. For students aged 13-18, they are seeking problem solvers, code crackers and, most importantly, those who never give up!

Memories of YJB students' once-in-a-lifetime trip to California in 2018! California 2021 will be launched first day back after October Half Term!

Students have their say!
We have launched a new initiative this year, whereby the students are given more of an opportunity to have their voice heard. Students at YJB have been given the opportunity to apply to be Subject Ambassadors. As a Subject Ambassador they will be responsible for representing departments on open and options evenings. However, this role also comes with a great responsibility of running the student voice for that particular subject. They will meet regularly with students to find out how their studies are going, and then, they will attend department meetings and feedback to Heads of Department. Sixth Former Evie is Head Girl, oversees the Subject Ambassadors and is pictured presenting the English group with their badges. Well done!!
