My parents rushed my chinchilla to the vets once because he had gone limp and was not moving much. They seemed annoyed that my parents had arrived before closing time and then said my chinchilla was fine before sending him home with a syringe and medicine saying he was simply dehydrated. He obviously needed more medical attention and he died at home shortly after the visit. Caused me a lot of trauma and heartache. He was only young, to say they can live 10-15 years. They seemed to care more about going home than trying to help my pet.
