30 agonising minutes to wait until my No Bake Salted Tahini Cookie Dough Fudge is ready for consumption 😢 Fortunately the bowl was available to lick in the meantime and I’m pleased to report that the mixture tastes amazeballs....even though the name suggests it would taste f@cking disgusting! 😜😂😋 #gonein60seconds #vegan #ambitiouskitchen #ambitiouskitchenrecipe #rawfood #healthyeating #healthytreats #yumiyogi #yumiyoga #tastesbetterthanitlooks #pacience #cardiff #yoga

The antenatal yoga really helped to relieve my pelvic girdle pain and reduce my anxieties around birth. I learnt good breathing techniques, met like-minded mummies-to-be with similar worries and pregnancy related issues and heard a variety of different birth stories sent in by previous attendees. This really helped me to mentally prepare for the birth and I found that I couldn’t wait to relax in class every week!

User

So sorry to have lost your classes in Greenwich, they meant a lot to me over the years. When I started the Monday night class in 2010 I was new in Greenwich, rehabbing a broken wrist, and not sure if yoga was for me. I did that class for 3 years and can't imagine not doing yoga these days. Then the pre- and post- natal classes were amazing, and I'm sure they helped me have a positive pregnancy and a happy first few months with my daughter. I've struggled to get to class lately but I am still practising at home when I get time. Thank you for being a fab teacher and for making your classes fun and challenging but never intimidating. Lucky Cardiff! All the best, Kate x

I’ve been to quite a few of Claire’s classes including pregnancy yoga, hypnobirthing, baby massage and Mum and baby yoga. Why have I been to so many classes? Claire’s relaxing and calm nature throughout all classes is brilliant and just what you need during and after pregnancy. She creates a lovely environment to be in and teaches lots of different techniques (breathing and movement) that are extremely useful during pregnancy and labour. There’s also an opportunity to ask questions about common pregnancy issues. I don’t think I would have been so calm during labour if I hadn’t been to her hypnobirthing classes. These are great if you’re anxious, worried or want some extra tips to keep you relaxed during labour. They also helped my husband who didn’t really know what to expect in childbirth and he knew how to keep me calm. Post pregnancy classes are again relaxing, welcoming and an opportunity to make new friends and have a chat about babies and hear stories of other mums. Claire’s experience and knowledge about all things pre and post pregnancy instantly make you feel at ease during classes, which include a lovely relaxation session at the end of yoga which sets you up for a good night sleep and good day! I’d highly recommend these classes to any expectant mummies looking for a fab instructor, calming and relaxing sessions whilst meeting new people and making new friends. Thanks Claire!

User

I've been to Claire's baby massage and mummy and baby yoga classes and have really enjoyed both. The baby massage was a fab way to get out of the house when my little one was only 2 months old and as the classes are so relaxed and informal, it was nice to know that you could feed and change the baby whenever you needed to. The yoga has also been invaluable in teaching me some techniques for relieving some aches and pains in my neck and shoulders from constantly feeding/carrying baby. Thanks Claire, I'll really miss your classes xx

User

I so enjoyed Claire’s class when I was pregnant. I was finding I had no energy after work so was nervous about committing to something, but I always felt welcome and instantly relaxed when I walked (waddled, if I’m honest) in! The way Claire runs the class is so lovely and it means that you get so much out of it by sharing experiences and advice and that lovely feeling that you’re all in the same boat. It really helped with the sciatica and hip pain that I developed later on and helped me to stay active right up until I had my baby and beyond. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of Claire’s classes.

User

I loved my pregnancy yoga classes with Claire. It was great to meet fellow mums-to-be in a really informal and non-judgemental environment. I loved how supportive everyone was of one another and always came away feeling relaxed and positive. Claire was a great instructor and always took the time to tailor exercises to those with additional discomfort or issues in their pregnancy. She explained everything fully and was so knowledgeable about pregnancy and birth that it really helped boost my confidence ahead of the little one arriving. Claire's knowledge also helped me understand some of the pain I'd been experiencing so I could discuss it with my midwife, which was super helpful as a first-time mum. I'd definitely recommend these classes to anyone.

User

I have attended pregnancy yoga, hypnobirthing and now mum and baby yoga. Claire is an excellent teacher and has been invaluable through my pregnancy/birth and postpartum journey. Can’t recommend enough!

User

I can’t not say enough wonderful things about Claire and the sessions she delivers.

I started attending pregnancy yoga with Claire when I was 15 weeks pregnant and from that first class I was hooked. The sessions were so relaxed, so informative and I always felt so welcomed. I attended these classes right up until I gave birth. Each week I looked forward to a Wednesday where I learnt to use my breath, had a good stretch and made friends.

My husband and I also attended the Hypnobirthing course which was spread across 3 Saturdays. With this course we gained the tools which we both used throughout the birth of our son. I really can not thank Claire enough for supporting us to make the birth so positive. I had a very long Labour with minimal pain relief by using my breath and positive attitude the Hypnobirthing classes taught me.

We very much enjoyed the baby massage course and have incorporated the techniques into our bedtime routine.

Currently we are about to go into our 4th term of mum and baby yoga because we really do love it. It has supported me to gain strength after birth, in a relaxed environment to settle, feed and comfort baby.

Claire is a wonderful teacher who is so knowledgeable about pregnancy, birth and babies, she is very warm, funny and we have truly benefited so much for attending all her sessions.

User

I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND Claire's Yumi Yoga classes! I did pregnancy yoga, baby massage and baby yoga at the Mackintosh Centre in Roath and not only were the classes incredibly helpful in birth preparation and baby bonding, I met some wonderful Mums and babies at these groups who are now close friends. I didn't go to NCT classes (just Parent Craft at the Hospital) and so I was a little nervous about meeting new Mums - but I needn't have worried - Claire has developed a WONDERFUL network of supportive ladies in Cardiff. Not only is she a brilliant, specialist Yoga teacher - she's an incredible person who invests in her mother and baby 'students' by arranging social events through her closed Facebook Group. I'm so grateful to Claire and would not hesitate to recommend Yumi Yoga to any Mums-to-be and new Mums. You'll have so much fun!

User

I attended pregnancy yoga with Claire from weeks 12-week 39 of my pregnancy. The classes really helped prepare me for the realities of pregnancy and birth as well as helping my body stay physically fit. Claire was always really good at altering a move if it wasn’t suitable for a class member and accommodating all needs. I’ve recommended her classes to many people (including my health visitor!) and am looking forward to doing a class with the baby too.

User

I attended pregancy yoga, baby massage and mum and baby yoga with Claire and would definitely recommend. Claire's sessions are relaxed, friendly and welcoming. This was the first yoga I'd ever done and I left the sessions feeling a lot calmer and more relaxed. Loved it!

User

I attended at Claire’s pregnancy yoga class from week 25 to week 38! They were amazing! I genuinely looked forward to them each week! They helped keep me fit and helped with the general aches and pains of pregnancy! They were so much more than that though, Claire is so so knowledgable about all things pregnancy related and always gave great advice each week and I loved the birth stories! Each session allowed me a chance to relax and connect with my baby! Little Eva my baby girl is here now and I can’t wait until we start with Baby yoga and Baby massage with Claire! Thanks so so much Claire for your wonderful classes, I look forward to seeing you soon! X

User

I attended a baby massage course with Claire. My baby slept through the majority of the sessions, but I really enjoyed them. I found the massage techniques relaxed my baby once i used them at home. It was fun, easy to do and i met other new mums too. Claire is such a good teacher I'd definitely recommend her to anyone thinking of doing baby massage or something similar.

User

I attended Claire’s pregnancy yoga classes from week 20 to week 39 of my pregnancy. The classes were absolutely brilliant and Claire is a fantastic teacher. She is extremely knowledgable and is able to give advice about any common pregnancy problems. The classes were a lovely environment to relax and meet other mums to be. The breathing techniques that Claire teaches helped me hugely during my labour and helped me remain calm and focussed throughout. I would highly recommend these classes to any expectant mums!

User

I attended Claires pregnancy yoga class from 15 weeks until the end of my pregnancy, along with the hypnobirthing course she runs and I have signed up for baby massage and Mum and baby yoga with her. Hypnobirthing was fantastic, I wasn’t really sure what to expect, and my husband was very supportive but a little skeptical, and I must say we both found it to be incredibly informative for the process of giving birth and how to manage it.

The yoga classes were great to not only keep moving but to hear from other ladies about how their pregnancies were going, picking up tips along the way! I’d really recommend Claire and her classes to anyone, she is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. Thanks Claire!

User

I absolutely loved Claire’s pregnancy yoga class. The movements and postures definitely helped with the pregnancy niggles your body gets. I really looked forward to the time the class gives you to connect to your baby. Everyone was super friendly and you get the opportunity to ask for advice and share some wisdom with Claire and the other expectant mummies. Really looking forward to doing pregnancy yoga with Claire again for baby number 2

My partner and I also attended hypnobirthing with Claire, we couldn’t praise the class or Claire enough! My partner went from sceptic to complete advocate, the class completely prepared us for what to expect and how to deal calmly and rationally with everything birth throws at you! Although my birth experience wasn’t ‘straight forward’ it was positive and I only have happy memories of it. I now recommend hypnobirthing to every pregnant mama I chat to!

User

Hi Claire

I just wanted to say a big thank you to you for all the support you've given my partner and I throughout our hypnobirthing course and thereafter. Its been inspirational to us both, and I can actually say I've gone from being someone that was totally frightened of the whole pregnancy/labour journey, to now being empowered by the principals of hypnobirthing and we've decided that a home birth is the right choice for us.

Claire your one to one sessions at your home was just great for us...you not only made us feel welcome and relaxed from the off-set, you've also passed on the knowledge and tools to feel totally prepared for labour.

The power of the mind is a great tool and I just wish more ladies realised that there are other options to pain control out there.

Keep spreading the Hypnobirth love! Rhian xx

User

Did antenatal yoga which was really excellent for keeping a bit more mobile and also calm during a difficult last part of pregnancy. Absolutely love the baby yoga and my baby loves it too. Fun and relaxing.

User

Certainly miss having Claire and Yumi Yoga in Greenwich. I was fortunate enough to attend every single one of the classes - dynamic, pregnancy, birth prep, baby massage and baby & mum yoga - this is testimony to Claire's ever helpful and informative teaching on all things yoga and baby related. Claire knows her stuff and is able to share this in an unpretentious way that makes learning and practice easy and so enjoyable. She cracks a good joke too :) All 'round a wonderful teacher and teachings... Cardiff have another new little treasure.

I have attended pregnancy yoga, hypnobirthing and now mum and baby yoga. Claire is an excellent teacher and has been invaluable through my pregnancy/birth and postpartum journey. Can’t recommend enough!

I attended pregancy yoga, baby massage and mum and baby yoga with Claire and would definitely recommend. Claire's sessions are relaxed, friendly and welcoming. This was the first yoga I'd ever done and I left the sessions feeling a lot calmer and more relaxed. Loved it!

Rhian xx

Did antenatal yoga which was really excellent for keeping a bit more mobile and also calm during a difficult last part of pregnancy. Absolutely love the baby yoga and my baby loves it too. Fun and relaxing.
