Broadlands Fun Day 2018! Well what can I say, I have had a really tiring but such an enjoyable day today comparing the event. It was a first for me comparing an event at such a great size but I did my best and feel I did the organisers proud, hopefully it won’t be the last time I’m involved! Shout out to all those involved today, managements, stalls, amusements, catering etc! Well Done!

Hello Everyone, Well it’s nearly time! The summer holidays have nearly finished (for those with children or who have been lucky enough to have a little break) and my placements will be well and truly in action by this time next week!
Being in such a competitive industry means I am always thinking of new methods and ways which I can stand my business out, appeal to the masses, provide a professional and enthusiastic service, so.... I thought of these!

I’ve had to keep quiet about this for a while now as it’s all been planning and building behind the scenes however.... I’m super excited to announce that I will be MC’ing Broadlands Fun Day on Saturday September 1st at Maes Yr Haul. I have MC’d a number of small events over the years but this sized evert is defiantly a first for me and it’s safe to say, I’m a little nervous, but over all, I can’t wait! (I’ll also be doing some dancing and workshops too).
My role for the day... will be engaging with the public at the event and keeping you up to date with what’s available to see and do!

Really pleased with how my rear window marketing stickers came out. This business is all about having a professional and positive reputation, so having a little bit of the business displayed on the motor will help with the image when arriving at placements etc. Since I put them on (only on Monday) I have had an email asking about a party for a youngster. Amazing how quickly it can take effect!

Been having a tidy up on the website today, re-arranging pages, sorting photographs, navigation, text layout etc. Hopefully the website is looking a bit better now and not so cluttered. It's far from perfect but there is always room to grow and improve.

Added a new service to the portfolio today, well it was the first time I have done it as a solo business. I choreographed a flash mob for a wedding. It was a fun challenge to say the least. Having no idea of anyone’s age, ability etc was difficult, but once we got started there was no stopping us! Few more sessions booked in and then it’s the big day!

Been supporting my local community today hosting a street dance workshop with Wildmill Community Youth Club. Every year many local youth clubs and charities get supported by governing authorities and supplied funding, to give young people opportunities they may not ever have in their lives for whatever reasons that might be. I’m proud to support them and give them an experience with a difference. Only a few youngsters turned up but we have a brilliant afternoon.

Fantastic day today delivering workshops for Vibe Dance School all the way across country at Pembroke Docks. The students responded extremely well to the styles and choreography and further developed their skills in Street Dance. Well Done to all those that participated and thank you to Hannah for the invitation. Will see you for the next one!

1st official day of the summer holidays for myself today and I have wasted no time. Tshirts have been delivered for printing and the new logo is being carefully located. Some documentation for local governing bodies has been completed and I have also started sorting my planning files for new placements in September.
Finally I am excited to announce, that after some discussions and debating, I will soon be offering a new service to add to the business... I’ll simply say for ...now, let’s get this party started! 📀🎧🎉

Absolutely fantastic day delivering open workshops and generally having a great time jamming with the 2800 participants at Street Games Multi-Sport Festival. Was a good opportunity to meet new people, share experiences and discuss more opportunities to engage in what we love. I had some very interesting meetings with some inspirational people so exciting times to come.
As always, thanks to The Dance Centre Academy for also coming along to the event to help engage with the pe...ople and generally supporting the event with the dancing and an energetic atmosphere.

Tomorrow I have been offered a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate and deliver open workshops at Cardiff Principality Stadium in a massive event called Street Games Multi-sport Festival!
The Dance Centre will also be coming along to help with the demonstrations and support me with this, as over 2500 young people will be attending.
I’ll be using the opportunity to meet with other entrepreneurs and sports leaders to engage in what we love to do and hopefully gain some new c...ontacts and placements.
