Wow �My boyfriend and I popped in for food Thursday evening. We had the carbonara, it was so tasty and full of flavour. I had the lemon, rasberry and pistachio cheescake for dessert which was out of this world � we'll be back very soon. Thankyou x

What a great evening!! Our waitress gave 110% service with a smile - even when my husband accidentally knocked his drink into his food. She replaced his meal and drink free of charge. All the main meals were hot and tasty. We were able to sit and chat without being hassled. Thank you for a lovely time where we could celebrate my father in law’s birthday in a warm atmosphere 👏👏

Went to Zizzis yesterday for my retirement lunch. I have been before so knew I would like it. Waiter very nice and came back for us to order as we were all busy nattering. Can't fault the main meals and desserts. Didn't have starters. Wine was a bit expensive at over £5 a glass considering I bought a bottle in Tesco today for £3.75 but there you go. Enjoyed it though and would go back.

Two of us had a late lunch and lots of wine(!) in celebration yesterday at Zizzi's in Newport. Not having been there previously we didn't really know what to expect but we were very very pleasantly surprised! The service was efficient and friendly and we were instantly at ease. The menu had some great options and the starters particularly impressed us. The wine wasn't cheap but it was delicious and on a par pricewise with other restaurants . We will certainly be back! Thank you x

Omg amazing. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Food is lush! I ordered a SKINNY PIZZA and I'm very fussy so asked for it with just cheese n tomatoes only......omg I'm so impressed and will definitely be recommending Zizzi's to everyone :) Can't wait too visit again 5☆☆☆☆☆ xx

Lovely meal and it was nice that I could order a smaller portion without any fuss I'm always put off if I get a huge meal dumped in front of me Have to say it was the best Spag bol I've tasted Will deffo go again also pleasant helpful staff and nice atmosphere Many Thanks

Lovely food today, amazing staff, even put up with a grumpy me all full up with a cold and not being able to eat properly. Will be back when my throat is not to painful and I can taste.

I came last year and was not impressed so was not in a hurry to return. But was given a voucher for Christmas. We came yesterday and asked a member of staff what they recommended and she asked our tastes and gave us a few things to order from.



We had their garlic bread sharer to start and a Sofia pizza to share ! The garlic bread pizza was the best garlic bread i have ever tasted in my life �� we was very impressed. When waiting for our main. The manger came over and advised the first pizza that came out was to small and the second was burn so it’s on the way but we will not be charged ( to be honest we didn’t even think we were waiting that long ) but was pleasantly surprised with the service � when the pizza did arrive it was worth the wait . We ended up saving some to take home so we could order desert . The deserts were chocolate brownie and melt in the middle pudding again both were amazing ! We then were given a 40% of voucher code for signing up to their emails. So our bill was so little !



Great experience amazing staff especially Abbie ! And amazing food � will be back soon �

First timer with my two daughters before going to the cinema. Charlotte our waitress was very accommodating her advice was great. The ambiance was calming, relaxing. staff had a sense of humour. The food was lovely, lovely flavours and able to bring home uneaten pizza because I didn't realise how big it would be. I would definitely eat here again

First time there. Lovely food, we were all given a free glass of wine 6 of us as 3 of us were celebrating our birthday's. Our waitress Jasmine was lovely and couldn't do enough for us.

Fabulous food , friendly, attentive service look forward to going again good vegetarian choice.

Date night with the hubby last night at Zizzi's in Friars Walk. All staff were really friendly and even though we were an hour early for our booking (film ended much earlier than we'd planned) we were sat straight down. Food was amazing and the venue looked fab and gave us a great feel. We'll definitely be back. Thanks !

All my family of 20 had a fabulous time last night at the restaurant. Fab food., amazing.cutomer service.who could not do enough to make sure we had a lovely memorable night celebrating my niece 21st birthday. Thank you. Xx

Zizzi in Newport (Wales) is our go-to place for Date Night.



We like the friendly service, and like that there are options for my boyfriend (the meat eater) and myself (the vegetarian). We always have a nice, romantic time here. The staff does their job, but isn't "in your face" all of the time, especially on special occasions such as Date Night.



We have not been disappointed, ever, coming here : )

The staff are true customer service professionals (unlike Chiquito’s). Always a friendly and warm atmosphere. The food is tasty but I wouldn’t eat there without an offer or voucher - it’s a bit pricey for what it is without one!!

Friendly staff, visited with my grandson after school on a Friday, able to use a 25% discount on mains voucher up until 5pm which I acquired by checking on the restaurant website. My grandson ate from a children's menu @ £6 75 which gave him 3 courses with a selection of items for each course. I chose Spaghetti Carbonara which was very tasty. We had a bottle of lemonade & coke which @ £2 75 I considered to be pricey.

Sadly not as good as usual. We waited a long time for our first drinks. Starters were nice, main very disappointing dried out and no sauce that I could see it taste and the garlic bread we ordered as a side came as we were finishing desert lovely. Waiter tried his best but found it difficult to understand us. We were given a drink each as we had been left unattended for a very long time. Hoping it was a one off as we do like to come here quite often .

I rate it good on the friendliness of the staff and the starters, and that's it. my main a spaghetti dish came on a cold plate, did I complain ? no, by the time they warmed a dish and tipped my meal into it, my friends would have finished. it should never have been served on a cold plate in the first place. on top of that, the part of the room we were sitting was cold, I don't know where the draught was from but it was so bad we didn't bother to wait for coffee. it's a shame because next door was full, warm and had loads of atmosphere.
