jerk chicken skewers are delicious here, staff friendly and food was served fast, this was my first visit but it will be the place I go to in future.

What a lovely little place great food, fantastic service. Took a piece of rum cake home it was amazing but you were right about not driving! Will definitely be back

I recommend the finger licking jerk chicken wings,melt in ur mouth curried goat and every chocoholics dream..homemade choc brownie..All served and cooked by the lovely owners.

Visiting the Jewellery Quarter then stopped off for a bite to eat at the 24 Carat Bistro. My wife had the all day breakfast & I had the maggots..... they were "proper" maggots and were really good. My wives comment on the breakfast was it was "very good" Next time we are back at the Jewellery Quarter WE will definitely go there again and try something else

Visited here for the 1st time yesterday for a friends 21st Birthday Meal. Had read reviews in the past but never had the chance to pop in. The Restaurant had been booked out by our friends for their sons Birthday. It's a small but cosy little restaurant. We had a variety of dishes. Starters were Mutton patties, Jerk chicken wings, plantain.

Mains were Goat curry, rice and peas, pork, oxtail, chicken drumsticks.

Dessert was a choice of homemade Chocolate brownie, peanut butter and chocolate brownie, white chocolate and Coconut blondie, white chocolate and marshmallow blondie.

Food was delicious. Portions were big. We were totally stuffed by the end.

The service was brilliant. We will definitely be back. Hopefully to try one of their candlelight nights!!

Thankyou for a fantastic meal,all the food from the delicious plate of starters,followed by amazing authentic caribean main dishes,and sauces and exquisite desserts,,was truly wonderful.There where eleven of us out celebrating and I would say it was faultless in presentation ,taste and service,The place is well worth a visit .Once again ,Thanks Janice and all the staff and not forgetting your talented chef..x

Such an amazing place! On a visit to Bimingham my friend took me here for lunch. A hidden treasure. Gorgeous food and excellent service. Definitely recommend a visit!

If you're in the jewellery quarter and you don't go to 24 Carat Bistro, you're missing out! The jerk chicken is to die for and they have a sticky toffee pudding that is better than anything you can get in a chain restaurant. I only ever have the jerk chicken (as you can't get it better anywhere else) but a vegetarian friend of mine loves it here too so the menu is definitely veggie friendly. The staff are always so friendly and are happy to offer advice on the local jewellers if you're new to the JQ and feel overwhelmed by the choices. Last time I visited, the lovely lady working there even came outside with us to point out and direct us to some places she would recommend! I also had my 5 week old baby with me and when she woke up just as the food arrived, the lady immediately offered to keep it warm in the kitchen for me so I could feed the baby first without my food going cold. It's the little touches that make it feel like you're visiting friends rather than just a bistro and it's that personal service that keeps bringing me back.

It's hidden away and I first heard about it from a friend of mine, who had it recommended to her by someone else. It's one of those places you'll want to tell everyone about and it feels like you're letting people in on this amazing little secret restaurant.

I had a 5 star breakfast here and enjoyed the venue so much I promised to return with my family for a private function.

Came down from Cambridgeshire on 18th June for my birthday with family. My sister was late as usual and she lives in brum. Any how, lovely bistro, lovely staff, good service, the food was excellent! In summary lovely hidden gem in Birmingham would recommend 100%. Thankyou 24 carat bistro xx

Been here a few times. Love the food and the portion size. Truly authentic caribbean food. Always made welcome. Exceptional value for money. Wish it was a bit bigger so we can bring the whole family down.

Awesome little place. Called in today whilst taking a break from looking for wedding rings.

Small place but good honest food that's been well cooked and good portions . Kids enjoyed all of their food and my Mrs was getting weak at the knees with her Faggots and peas and mash. I settled for lamb and coriander burger and as good as it was, I got plate envy of the couple next to us. Their curried goat looked fit!!!

Also had the deserts of peanut butter brownie, blondie and marshmallows and plain choc brownie at our table. And all were superb, only downfall was that mine wasn't never ending, could have have easily subdued to a dose of diabetes for another slice or ten. And talk about sugar treats the hot chocolate the kids had was immense. The staff were great, friendly and was obvious they love what they are doing, as comes through with their food and service.

Shame I don't frequent the jewellery quarter often, but may be pushed to bigamy and find a second wife, just to find a excuse to go up there ring shopping, then I can go and have a crack at that curried goat.

As I live and work in the JQ I have always wanted to try this place. As I was walking past today I started talking to the lady outside. She was very friendly and I ordered some jerk chicken, it was beaut! I'm going to bring my girl friend here for the carrabian night and try the many rums they have to offer. Really cool place.
