Today marks a mile stone! It’s Paddy’s 65th birthday! And before anyone asks...he’s not retiring!!! As the birthday boy states, “Where could I have more fun and laughter than in my own shop? Surrounded by good customers and staff!” “My lads reckon I’ve still got several more years of work left in me yet!”

British pie week 5th – 11th March 2018 With all this cold weather we’ve been having lately, Come and join us in celebrating British Pie Week. Indulge in one of our traditional British Meat Pies, made on the premises by Sue and Sam Ryan. We have our Traditional Steak Pie Range including: Classic, Steak and Ale, Beef and Wine, Steak and Kidney and Steak and Onion. We also do a Venison in red Wine, a local speciality Shropshire Fidget Pie and not forgetting our two chicken pies...: Chicken Leek and Bacon and Chicken, Ham and Mushroom. All our Meat pies are made with our homemade shortcrust pastry base and topped with our homemade rough puff pastry all made by Sam Ryan. All our pies Can be bought freshly cooked every morning from our shop or can be purchased frozen ready to be cooked at home. We also make traditional Pork pies in a variety of sizes as well as Game Pies and Long Pies which come in a variety of flavours including: Pork and Apple, Pork and Pickle, Duck, Chicken, Huntsman and not forgetting traditional Plain Pork and Egg. I used to go as a little girl with my Grandma shopping every Saturday morning to Much Wenlock. We always went to the Butchers and have fond memories of going with a list that my Mum sent to get her weekly meat! Lovely staff. Great quality meat and products.

I'm now going with my 3 little girls....just waiting till the eldest can go with her Grandma and my 'list'!! X
