Adams' Grammar School

When I visited the school just before Christmas, I was presented with the book "MR ADAMS' FREE GRAMMAR SCHOOL". I would like to thank you for this gift. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I never realised the struggles the school had gone through during most of its history. The picture of the Masters 1958-1959 was a real memory jogger for me. I got to know most of them when I joined Adams' in 1964. I now deeply regret that I never had the chance to thank Mr Humphrys in particular for his patience with me. Without him, I would never have learned German and would of course never have spent my grown up life in Germany. He certainly paved my way for me. A fantastic teacher. But looking back, so were they all. Thanks Adams'. Glyn Roberts

Facilitates successful careers for childrens futures

There have been so many times when I have given thanks for my education at AGS. Does anyone know M (Walt) Schafer 1960 - 66. Or Christine Spiers at the High School 1960 -65ish?
