The same techniques can also be used to help in the recovery and to reduce symptoms of many medical conditions. Sports massage is a specialist area within Remedial massage that apply the same techniques and principles in a way that best meets the specific needs of the athlete.
Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy is often recommended in parallel with physiotherapy, osteopathy or chiropractic treatment during the rehabilitation of injuries.
