At Adult Education we are all numbers people.
National Numeracy is a celebration of numbers and how we use them in everyday life. Many of us say we’re not numbers people. But numbers play a big part in all of our lives! National Numeracy at Adult Education Wolverhampton is all about recognising this and helping people sharpen their skills and build their confidence. Being better with numbers isn’t a special talent, it’s something we can all learn.
A week of activities... During our national numeracy week there will be a variety of activities for you to take part in. Tell us the last time you used maths and how... was it shopping? Planning a journey? Cooking food?
- Participate by writing your experience and ideas on posters displayed - Win a prize by taking part in a quiz - Win some sweets by guessing the correct weight of these packed in a jar - Take part in games and activities with the support of a maths teacher
Come and see us in the Foyer Reception on Monday 13th May – Thursday 16th May between 11-2pm!
