We have just watched the BBC One drama 'Care'... One word - OUTSTANDING!
It clearly shows the extreme pressure that health services, social services/local authorities, and importantly, families have to face when dealing with changes to an individual's health and social care needs. All battling different challenges, often with the individual being the one who suffers.
It is important to remember the family who are trying their hardest for the benefit of their loved ones. Here... at Affexa Care Services, we try our best to eliviate some of the pressures from family to ensure they are able to continue to live their own lives and to spend quality time with their relatives/friends.

TODAY, WE CELEBRATE!
Three years ago today, we provided our first ever visit as Affexa. Our first customer was an exceptionally kind gentleman who sadly is no longer with us. This is a heartfelt thanks to him (and his son) for believing in me and Affexa when we were a nobody in a pond filled with big fish. Whilst I provided hands-on support to him, he provided me with some of the best support and guidance that I will never forget. Without his wisdom, encouragement and kind w...ords, Affexa may not be the company it is today. He has not only helped me, but he helped me to help others. THANK YOU!
When speaking to our elders, listen. They may just give you the advice, direction or guidance you need. After all, they have often already been on a similar journey. And if not, they have some amazing stories to tell.
If you want to be a part of our journey, in turn, your own, why not apply for one of our Care Practitioner positions in Stafford, Stone or Newcastle-under-Lyme and advance in a career in Social Care.

Working for Affexa has got to be one of the best jobs I've had. It's not all about what you do in the field, but how the management are with you! "look after your staff and they will look after you" - this is lived by! Coming from crappy past firms, I feel more positive, confident and happy. This empire needs to grow as people need it is proven people being looked after at home, has a better quality of life! Also helps to take the pressure off hospitals and care homes.

Not one for writing reviews, but I feel like I have a duty to because of how amazing this place is!

Working for Affexa has been a major turning point in my life as no one would give me much of a chance as I'm not flexible with working hours, due to being a single parent. Ben gave me that chance, and welcomed me into the team.

It's been nearly 11 weeks since I joined Affexa and I already feel a part of the Affexa family and hope I can be a part of that family for many more years to come.

I have been with affEXA, for a few months now. Lost for words on how to describe these guys, sum it up as Amazing. Can't fault anything, well informed, and the carers are lovely, chatty and timely.
