We just played the shed with our Rock n Roll band (Buddy’s Revival)
Would just like to say! This place is the nuts! Very well run and amazing venue!
Visited from out of town on a busy Friday night, busy with a band night on, very quick service and cheap drinks. Sat down at a table and someone knocked into it and sent of drinks all over us. Staff quickly checked if we were ok and asked if we were being bought replacement. Staff were brilliant, cleaned up the meds and also checked on us after 10 minutes to make sure we were sorted. Definitely recommend and will be back!
The doormen luke and Mark are awesome and the bar staff are amazing love the place, the place to be at!
Staff put the Wolves match on for us and handed out free hot dogs! Very happy with this venue
Quite Simply Shrewsbury's best live music venue. Great bar too with a good selection of drinks.
Highly recommended
Incredible door staff, so nice and friendly. Aiden and Mark great guys really helpfully , looking forward to coming back again
Having played last night with my band F1-11, I can honestly say from the moment we arrived to when we loaded out, you guys looked after us and made us feel more than welcome. Great friendly and fun atmosphere in great surroundings. One of our best shows in many a month, thank you to all of your staff and customers. What a night!
Great venue, great music easy to get a drink and the door staff are super helpful and really friendly
Great place to go to!!! After a long drive from Lowestoft via Stevenage on my way to Aberystwyth I decided to stay in Shrewsbury, after searching the whole town to watch the villa game (because three English teams were playing in the champions league on the same night) I fell upon this place that were not only accommodating but let me have the commentary until their live act began. Katie and Alisha were brilliant, nice to speak to such inviting ladies after such a long day....
Good venue, diverse beers, interesting decor, a great space for live music.
Go to Alberts Shed evertime I visit Shrewsbury, always the best entertainment in town, great vibrant atmosphere, great service..Well done to the management & staff.
Brilliant night on Friday and great music for all ages
4th visit to Alberts Shed. Door staff very welcoming and professional! Great music, great vibes. Definitely be back
Visited here yesterday (27th). I love it at Alberts, the band were great, the music played afterwards was great too. Couple of negatives, firstly I'm not sure if you could do with some air con, particularly around the dance floor. It was so hot in there, I was melting. Secondly the ladies toilets are rank! The floor was soaking wet with god knows what, lack of toilet roll, sink area disgusting. You definitely need to get this problem resolved!
Apart from that tho... thumbs up from me!
Could be much better. More staff needed waiting times are far too long. Air con it was like an oven ladies don't like their face sliding or hair frizzing. Toilets omg what can I saw disgusting no toilet roll floor was swimming sinks were disgusting. Now all of the above is a shame as we drove 25miles to go there we loved it initially. Guys you have a great bar spend some money on staff, air con, air freshener and toilet roll and toilet attendants it's worth it. Band was great, house DJ ?
Visited on a Tuesday night. Decor is great. Nice long bar. (Staff could have smiled though or at least pretended to be happy) Quirky seating etc with modern/vintage feel.
The open mic is on a Tuesday the sound was terrible. Way to loud, distorted and very uncomfortable to listen to. I am a big live music supporter especially in small local venues but had to leave as the sound was unbearable in the end, and we were sat away from the stage too. It seems as if all the money has gone towards everything else in the venue and the sound system was last priority. Wanted to love the venue but left feeling disappointed
Nice surroundings, a bit different, some bar staff looked like they didn't want to be there, not enough seating too , the toilets were filthy and smelly, urine all over the floor! but my biggest gripe is the drinks prices!! £14 for 3 drinks!! I asked for Bacardi and coke for my wife at a fiver a pop and got told it's not Bacardi but some white rum!! £4.60 for estrella! I pay £3.70 for Estrella in my local. Very expensive!!
Great venue let down by a terrible in house sound system. They’ve invested a lot of cash turning this place around and there’s a good vibe and a decent drinks selection, so to install a cheap Maplin ear-bleeding sound system is a huge mistake. For the sake of the bands and DJ’s performing there, please sort it out guys!! This could be the best venue in town...
I arrived in the snow and freezing wind suitably attired in mountain equipment fleece trousers
To be told by the door man I was wearing tracksuit bottoms
I disagreed as a winter and summer mountaineer they are not tracksuit bottoms
Clearly as a matching top is required for a tracksuit
Now I'm 52 have been to the shed on many occasions
I was then refused entry by the 38 yr old doorman with a beard .
Who as i walked away called me a wanker
My retort was yes I started at 10 yrs of age
Hardly anyone in there
I wanted a late drink
Not posses not aggressive
I ask mountain equipment fleece trousers
Worn by a mountaineer on the coldest night
With karrimor leggings underneath
Am I wearing tracksuit bottoms ?
.or just trying go keep warm And peaceful
Mr Alberts shed
You need to sack that obnoxious doorman
