It wouldn't be Also Festival without us providing the chance to build some kind of powered machinery. So hurrah for Dr Adam Baker, Senior Lecturer in Space Engineering and Astronautics at Kingston University and general expert on building rockets and launching them into Also Festival airspace in a very safe and very controlled way. Come and spend an hour building, testing and flying a working stomp rocket. And there's a prize for whoever launches their rocket the furthest! Dare to have a go? 10.....9.......8.....
Tickets: £5.00. Please book via the link below.

The Also Festival Saturday night banquet is always the most memorable of the weekend. And this year is no exception as we offer an unforgettable night for anyone who loves immersive dining. For one ethereal night at the height of summer, we will transport you on a stylish journey of food, fun, and fabulousness as we present: ‘End of Empires.’
This innovative tasting menu, with accompanying wine and matching cocktails, celebrates our festival theme of 'Isle of Noises' with ...an exquisite menu designed by the Ibiza-based chef James Calvin Knight and Also Festival’s Head of Dining Rebecca Otero with room design by Judy Reaves Design.
The End of Empires Banquet is a seven-course, incredible feast featuring the finest ingredients matched with a feast of the audio, visual and the theatric, and ending – of course – with our now legendary Pudding Procession.
Celebrate your Saturday night with us at ALSO in style.

What do you get if you cross a professor of theoretical physics with a life drawing artist with dyscalculia? Come along and take part to see for yourself!
Theatrical life drawing company Art Macabre and Professor Ben Allanach (University of Cambridge) collaborate to design a life drawing experiment, especially for ALSO.
In the quantum realm, reality transforms to the bizarre. Explore the relationship between quantum objects and art, physics and fairytales, science and the imagination through a playful hands-on drawing workshop. Don't be afraid if you think you're bad at art or struggle with science; when we combine the two it is sure to be a fun experiment for everyone to have a go.

Could it be magic? Don't miss the entire festival community gathering together at dusk at the lake stage on Saturday night at 9:30pm, as our favourite illusionist Philip Escoffey entertains and amazes. A phenomenon for over 20 years; including TV, sell-out runs at the Sydney Opera House and a world tour, playing to millions with the stage show ‘the Illusionists’ - and he is at Also Festival to involve everyone who wants to take part in a mass illusion.
Take your place on the banks just before dusk and let him take you on an impossible journey. This is a big moment for Also Festival - make sure you and your gang are there.

As the author of over five of the official companion books to Downton Abbey, and the wildly successful novel The Mitford Murders, few authors have explored the social history of the first half of the 20th Century more than Jessica Fellowes.
To help us understand how dramatically the world has changed, we will explore the different eras through the cocktails that defined them. That's right! Through the 4 drinks that define the era - find out how the lives, the loves and the opportunities for women changed dramatically from the end of the First World War through to the beginning of our modern times.
Free event, but please book via the link below.

Our Midsummer’s Night's Dinner is an unmissable chance to kick off your weekend in style. Pitch your tent (or check in to the Safari Hotel) on Friday then head over to Dining.
Our Midsummer menu uses produce from local Warwickshire suppliers and is always a celebratory, seasonal menu packed with the flavours of British Summertime.
For 2018, to reflect our Isle of Noises theme, the Dining Room will be bringing in the English countryside with an explosion of hyper-real botanical colours. Our long tables will be lit by candelabra and the walls decked with fresh local flowers. See why this dinner always sells out fast?

Beautiful people, fabulous music, thought-provoking talks, great food... and a space big enough to rest and walk in nature. My favourite festival to date.

User

Beautiful friendly and a festival that is loving and caring to give you the best possible experience. Really good atmosphere, a place to be with friends and make friends in 50 acres of beautiful parkland. Also from a "talent" PoV I was very well looked after. Everything easy and fun. Lots to do, learn see, taste and enjoy.

User

Also is a small festival where kids can run feral and parents can soak up new ideas and plenty of culinary delights and liquid refreshment. Going again for our third time and can not wait.
