Me and my friend came to Birmingham for three days and visited Aluna every night, they serve the BEAT cocktails ever and the staff are absolutely amazing and the best cocktail makers I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by

Me & my partner came for pre George Ezra concert drinks, and was looked after 1st class by the fantastic staff at Aluna, thank you.

I first came here last year for my birthday and was lucky enough to be invited tonight for a few free drinks to try the new menu. Some great tasting cocktails and really imaginative too. The smoking ones are always my favourite. The canapes going round were a great touch and very yummy. The table across us ordered food and it looked and smelled amazing! Unfortunately we needed to leave or we would have stayed and ordered some ourselves but we will definitely be back to try the food and more cocktails from the menu. Thanks for a great evening guys!

I could not fault this place! I booked a table for my birthday for 5 people we all arrived 50mins late and table was still reserved, great atmosphere, the food and cocktails were superb!!! Staffs were also very polite. Would definitely recommend this place!!

I came here for a family meal for my brothers 21st birthday on a Saturday evening with my 18 month old and could not fault the place. The cocktails were amazing, the food was amazing and so was the hosting. Will definitely come again.

First come here in September last year for my friends 30th and last night I was lucky enough to be invited to an exclusive evening to try the new cocktail menu. Have to say the cocktails, as always, were amazing! Soooo many to choose from and each one so different to the other. Also provided beautiful canapés so I would highly recommend trying the food here! We will be coming back in September for my friends birthday! Thank you again for such a fantastic evening! ���

Fab food and cocktails! Decor is even better since it was revamped!

Fab evening here last night. Lovely staff. Food was beautiful and cocktails fab will defo be back ... thankyou ���

Delicious cocktails, great music and lovely vibe. Just right for a few cocktails.👍

Came here for the first time on Thursday with a friend. Lovely place, drinks where amazing and staff where fantastic

Was there on a Saturday night and it was buzzing with people all-around. Perfect location and some real funky cocktails. Cheerful bartenders and peppy music. I had a Zombie, the cocktail was nice but i have had better :) Anyways the place is a bit small so gets crampy when the crowd is on the higher side. Overall it was good and best part is its like 20 steps from my house so will definitely go there often.



Note: Would love a company as it's not that exciting to grab a drink alone ���

Fabulous place, food and drinks amazing - our waitress Lori was attentive and helpful and overall brilliant evening. Only slight down side was level of music while we were trying to eat and chat but it was Saturday night 🤔

Great place, good cocktails but not enough staff making them. For a Thursday afternoon the bar was 8 deep at any time, too much time waiting and not enough time enjoying. Worth a look though.

Terrible Customer Service! Table booked for partners birthday a month in advance, i made it clear it would be for drinks only not food, to be told this was fine! Then 2 days before the booking to get a call saying we cannot have a table for drinks any longer unless we spend minimum of £150! Obviously 2 of us cannot drink that so we get the patronising “we are really sorry sweet” ..... Unbelievable!! Would have been our first visit which we were looking forward too..... expected better!!

I've been here a few times for cocktails and never had a problem. I used to love this place. This evening was very different from my regular Aluna experience. I wasn't allowed in because my partner bumped into the wall when trying to grab the door for me as we were walking in. Instead of speaking to us, the bouncer aggressively blocked my partner from entering and told him to leave. I was left on my own. When I confronted the bouncer all he said was, he hit the wall. He dismissed me when I tried to explain the behaviour wasn't due to being drunk but my partners dyspraxia.



It's obvious the bouncer has little training when it comes to disabilities. Just because somebody is not acting the way you expect does not mean they are drunk. The bouncer was rude and intimidating for no reason. This is sheer ignorance on their part. If there would have been any attempt to talk to us, the situation could have been salvaged. Now I have zero interest in ever returning to Aluna.



I used to love popping in after work for some cocktails, but after this evening I won't give them my patronage ever again.



More needs to be done to get the public to understand and appreciate differences so that discrimination against disabled people in bars and restaurants, like what we experienced in Aluna, stops.

I note another person has just posted about an aggressive bouncer last night, I wonder if it was the same person that dealt with us.



My husband and brother were at the bar and the bouncer came over and said my husband was ‘swaying’. If he was ‘swaying’ why were they served drinks?



They brought the drinks over to the table where me and my 16 year old son were sitting. As we were sitting drinking, not causing any trouble or problem, he came over and told us to leave. He also physically shoved me and was extremely aggressive. I went to find the manager who said he would review the CCTV. While this was happening my family went outside and this bouncer threw one of our drinks in the canal.



As you can imagine I was very upset about all this, we were out celebrating my birthday and not causing any trouble! I am going to report this matter to the police today. I don’t believe this person should be working as a bouncer in your establishment as he is the one trying to cause trouble, not your patrons.
