Well done Dame Julie Walters!

Thank you for helping us make 2017 an incredible year.
Together, we have changed lives for the better; assisting women out of restrictive and abusive situations, and giving them the means to independence and a positive outcome, providing tools for self-empowering along the way.
We continue to actively campaign for better rights and improved legal protections for survivors, directly helping hundreds of women and children to safety through our vital support services.
... These results can only be achieved with the support of amazing people like you. As part of the Amirah Foundation family, you are enabling women to liberate themselves from fear and abuse.
Thank you for being part their journey. We value your continued support in 2018.

Thank you and well done to everyone who has supported the Amirah Foundation in our work with the #homeless, abused and vulnerable; from victims of violence and refugees who needed re-housing to our work with the Birmingham Food Drive and other charities to help the less fortunate in #Birmingham.

From the Amirah Foundation family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas.

Watch Amirah Foundation's weekly #CoffeeMorning transformed into a busy bazaar as women and children bring along their wares for a special Bring & Buy sale, to swap and sell their spare household goods. A great day of bartering, enterprise, creativity and socialising!

... If you can help us by volunteering, with anything from setting up events and stewarding, to helping with workshops or fundraising for us; drop us a message on Facebook, Twitter, or email: cheryl@amirahfoundation.org.

I would like to thank Amirah foundation for organising iftars events throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.

It was amazing to get around Syrian families and break our fast together. We miss Ramadan back home in Syria but with the efforts of Amirah foundation we felt home again here in Birmingham. They are our family now.

User

I am very thankful to Amirah foundtion to provide us with iftari every Saturday, all the arangments were amazing. This made me and my son feel like we were with our family. My son was very eager to attend all the iftaries. He made a lot of friends and it was a very fantastic experience for him. Amirah foundation also provided us with eid gifts, so we really felt like we were not alone and we had someone with us in this country. Once again thank you so much for everything and every support you gave us. We felt blessed in the holy month of Ramdan.

Amirah foundation is doing a great work helping vulnerable women and children. This help is really appreciated and may Allah help them with what they are doing and bless them.

JazakAllah Kheir

User

An amazing organisation, helping vulnerable women rebuild their lives. Astounding service by people who see this as more than just a job.

Thank you for caring

User

An amazing charity that I've had the pleasure to work with on many occasions. It's always a great time and you're helping out with a great cause. Cg3ck them out and donate if you can !

User

A great local charity supporting so many people. Proud to have helped them, even for a short while.

User

What a fantastic Iftar organised by the Amirah Foundation last night. Thank you for bringing women together to share their Iftar together.

User

i think you need to rethink and improve

too one sided and no commitment to other realigns.

also poor understanding of people in need

User

Worst flipping place ever. Put u in the worst place u can be as a new mother that went through so much. Shaz the CEO of the company lied and manipulated other service members to get other people on her side. She put me and my sister's in such a vulnerable place and made us feel so shit. She hurt us alot. We helped them so much by donating loads to other that needed help. She lies whenever it's best for her. Even wearing her hijab is a lie only wears it when it comes to events ect.

User

Too one sided not doing enough for Africa and other needy areas of the world.

User

CEO of amirah foundation doesn't even care about her service users or there opinions. She's the most unprofessional horrible woman I have met. Told us she is closing our case and not to come back. We have had the worst day there thanks to Shaz Manir. Rude and aggressive. It's not the first time as heard her shouting at a member of staff well I was in a therapy session. I have no problem with the staff there however Foundation needs a new CEO though. My opinion matters... stop blocking us.
