Amplified Sound is based in Worcestershire and commenced trading in 1972. Barrie Smith, a Director, has extensive previous experience in the theatre and decided to use this expertise to provide sound equipment to shows, exhibitions and events.

We hire or install and operate a wide range of 'Amplified Sound’ devices to primarily outdoor events including city shows, carnivals, fetes, exhibitions, steam rallies, equestrian, point-to-point events and motor sports including various forms of motor bike racing.

Also on offer are commentary booths, lighting and all the power equipment, amplifiers and speakers etc.

Our company is increasingly being used by other sports, this has included the World Orienteering Championships 2015 held in Scotland alongside the Scottish 6 Day event.

Bobbie Roe and Ronald Scott-Moncrieff have joined as joint Directors and operate in all areas of the business.
