It’s an ever changing world guys. No shit! I could say this has been a hard decision, but in all honesty, it hasn’t. It’s quite simply the right thing to do. We are all being advised to stay at home, and not make ANY unnecessary trips out. That includes for cake! No seriously. It’s just cake. You’ll all be ok! 😉
Yesterday was literally mind blowing to me. It helped me make this decision. Cos let’s be honest... as long as the doors are open... I can’t be preaching on about people staying at home can I!? A hypocrite I am not 👍🏼
I will NEVER take for granted, the constant support you lot have shown me and my team. I am living my dream. Wake up every morning (tired as fuck!), pinch myself...kinda dream. I have the most INCREDIBLE. DEDICATED. HARD WORKING team of girls with me. And as long as I let them, they’d continue turning up every day. And not going home til the jobs done. This decision is more for them than anyone. We are all going to self isolate. Stay at home as much as possible. Limit all unnecessary contact. It’s what you all need to be doing guys!!! It’s the only way we’re gonna kick this things ass! And get back to bloody normal. Cos I’m bored already! 😂 So....stay safe! Stay at home! Tell everyone to stay away! A little behind the scenes bakery news... You all know the beautiful Jenni. My right hand woman. Who’s been by my side, keeping me sane (ish), since day one. Since before day one actually. After sending me a message on here, way before the shop opened, asking if I’d consider her for a job in the future. The minute she arrived for her interview, I just knew. We became a team of 2, as she helped me find our other team members. There’s been staff changes, people have left, new... ones have come along, and Shes been right there with me every step of the way. I rarely make decisions on anything without her input. Her loyalty and dedication to the ‘Angels’ vision is exemplary. Literally don’t think I could of done this without her. So, this week, she’s finally been rewarded with a very well deserved promotion.
