Anvil House delivers floating support and accommodation services to a diverse range of vulnerable people experiencing mental health needs including Dual Diagnosis, Schizophrenia, Bi-polar, Depression and Personality Disorder. Working closely together with a multi-disciplinary team our highly trained and skilled staff aim to provide a fully inclusive service that is culturally sensitive and 'needs-led', where people can feel safe, secure and empowered enabling people to live independently in their community.
To achieve this aim all staff will receive full training and where possible we will endeavour to provide culturally specific support staff.

Male Support worker/housekeeper/Floating support worker - 40 hours per week
We are looking for a male floating support worker, to support men in the community with mental health conditions.... They will be responsible for a small supported accommodation home, overseeing health and safety, support of the clients and a maintaining clean, comfortable home. They will also support a variety of male clients in the community. The person will also provide cover to our main properties as/when required. This role is a lone worker. If required, they will complete assessments for clients who request a male assessor. The successful applicant will be required to complete a DBS.
Required: Level 3 health & social care or equivalent/higher education
Desirable: Own car Experience working in mental health Understanding of lone working Health and Safety knowledge
