Our late 1930’s Bakelite Vintage Telephone is in full working order. Adapted with a modern fitting. Authentic ring tone of yesteryear - gives a feeling of All Creatures Great and Small or Miss Marple. £110.

The best thing about owning a shop is getting to choose and source new stock. We had a great day yesterday new vintage stock for the shop and to put onto our Etsy page. Here’s a sneaky peak of the stock we picked up.

We’ve been working on these two vintage chairs today. Painted in Grand Illusions Vintage Chalk Paint - colour Mousse. Distressed and finished with clear wax. Seat pads reupholstered with Laura Ashley Wisteria Fabric. These are for sale and are priced at £48 each.

There’s nothing like a bit of sun and bunting to cheer everyone up! The shop is open Tuesday to Sunday 10.30 - 16.00 including this weekend so we’ve been getting ready to celebrate the Royal Wedding here at Archie’s, we’ve been working hard on the shop gardens and its starting to look as amazing as the inside. Hopefully Meghan and Harry will appreciate our efforts! We’re starting to work on phase 2 of the inside, decorating the attic to move the paint studio to create a dedicated boutique. We’ll then be expanding our range including more handbags and more shabby chic furniture. So what are you waiting for the door is open and you’re all invited!x

If you’re looking for something to do why not call in at the shop you can also visit the open gardens at Enville hall on Sunday, have tea on the lawn, visit the plant sales (in aid of St Mary’s Church) go walking over Highgate common, visit Kinver Edge and finish it off with a visit to The Cat Inn at Enville! Perfect!

Introducing “the Blazing Squad” - looks like we have 9 red comets and a goldfish..they use the fish cave at the end of the clip (well the slim ones do). The ones carrying a bit of timber have to go through the “wide load door”..

The shop pond is looking a little unkempt, so it’s time for a Spring Clean! One of those jobs that you wish you hadn’t started! Pleased to say it’s finished...I’ll show you the inhabitants shortly...

Soooo gorgeous! I fell in love with everything, I walked in not knowing anybody, 1 cup of tea and a good chat later I felt like I was walking into a home. I came home with 2 bags of beautiful things all for £70. I’ll be back next weekend with me mum! xxxxx

Love visiting here. Stuart and his family provide a great service as well as quality and bespoke items for sale. This is the niche the market has been missing. A fab all round service.

Love this shop! Always something different to look at and Stuart is always very helpful. Great news now stocking chalk paints.

I was lucky enough to get a last minute place on a duck painting workshop today. Great fun. Lovely paint to work with and friendly helpful advice . Would recomend to anyone :)

Had an old pine cheval mirror painted recently which was destined for the tip but has now been transformed into an amazing shabby chic mirror. Love it. Very friendly, efficient service. Would highly recommend. X

First time visiting your shop great items and I got carried away love my duck and buttons I've bought off you. Very friendly and lovely to talk to.
