We use this on a regular basis and have never had a problem with the lounge. All the staff are courteous and helpful the food and drink is plentiful and always fresh. Will continue to use the facility just for a nice relaxing start to our holiday

I use aspire every time I fly, staff very pleasant, lounge is clean and tidy and has always been quite at the times i fly. Limited selection of food but good range of alcohol which you can poor your self... triples all round

First time using the Aspire Lounge but will use it whenever possible from now on. Good selection of drinks, hot and cold, hot food (differs depending on time of day) cold snacks and staff very professional and friendly. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Well worth the money.?

First time using this facility, and to be fair I got what I paid for (£18). There were an ample array of alcoholic beveridges plus cheese and biscuits and croissants. Initially there was no hot food out but after approx 15 mins, a waitress appeared and replenished, so all in all I thought it was very good. I certainly ate and drank £18 worth.....

When I was there (a Sunday afternoon) it was nearly full. Drinks and food are self-serve. Food is things like nuts and sandwiches - nothing better. Drinks are wines, (two red, two white), spirits (no tequila!), beer, etc.

Roughly half the seating has power sockets. WiFi is good.

This is our second visit to this lounge both times mediocre

The staff are helpful at a push and the food is boring to say the least. Will fly from east midlands given the option their lounge, food and staff are amazing.

The greeting at the reception was dreadful for an area to relax and feel welcome it was simply awful

I do not think we will book again

The soup was delicious however and the drinks were readily available

I think a warm welcome goes along way ! The receptionist needs to attend a course on hospitality

Staff really pleasant plenty to drink both alcohol and non alcohol. It was early morning for us 6am but there were bacon sandwiches available. Not very good if you are a veggie! But cheese and crackers available too. Cereal and yoghurts and Danish pastries too. Before going to this lounge we use to use the restaurants in the airport. Paying something like £25 for a breakfast for two people. We would have to queue waiting for a table, wait for the breakfast order to arrive. It would most certainly be warm to cold because we have never had a hot breakfast arrive at the table hot! So are we pleased we Aspire lounge? Overall yes. It is pleasant, serve yourself to what ever is on display. And any amount you please instead of being at the mercy of a restaurant serving you what they think is value for the money. Aspire was comfortable and clean which the restaurants in the airport are not. Tables with dirty plates waiting to be removed. Chairs just as dirty etc. So overall Aspire is preferable to the usual scrabble for good available in the airport!

Always try to get into number 1 lounge because of the food, but it was fully booked, so we went to the servisair lounge instead. If this was the only lounge, and I didn't know the difference, I'd be happy.. But.. All they had to offer when I arrived was soup and croutons.. Before I left, some small rolls appeared, and cakes, but if you want feeding, it's not the lounge for you... But, on the up side.. If you like drinking, you get to pour your own, and as much as you like.

I have to say I’m a bit disappointed, the food Range was pretty sparse just Pasta as a hot option and cold meat salad. Did have scones and cream but expected more of a selection of pastry’s. Receptionist wasn’t at all welcoming and should probably be replaced with some one who had people skills. The drinks are help yourself and if you can drink quite a bit then you get your money’s worth from your stay in here. Overall disappointed with our 1st visit to Aspire lounges.

What a waste of money that was. Travelled on the 8th July with my wife and it cost us over 40 pound and what did we get?, egg cobs (i dont like egg) no other choice except cold soup !!! Staff uninterested. So for our 40 odd pound we had a couple of coffees and some biscuits!! Quality.. My advice, use wetherspoons, better value better food free wifi still and save lots of money..... Aspire is an absolute disgrace

User

Very very bad service and very limited items to choose and self service too.. no hot food except a soup .drinks choice very cheap .. never recommend to anyone to get this lounge facility to be use no greet nothing and even cleaning is horrible not just saying I'll add pics too .. so so so annoying...

User

Very poor quality of food - pale floppy bacon on rolls and very small croissants. Extremely slow male member of staff on welcome desk , queue out of lounge entrance. Not worth the £20 a head at all in the morning. Not happy.

This place has terrible service. It's 12.30pm and there is no food available to eat whatsoever, when I asked the staff why I just he a very bad attitude and get told to wait. Will not use this shit hole again absolutely disgusting service.

User

Staff were nice and it was easy to get into the lounge. Food choice was terrible!! All they had was a bacon bap and plain croissants as warm food choice!! Don't waste your money by booking this. No toilets in the lounge either so hubby had to go use the nearest by number 1 lounge. Definitely wouldn't use again

Priority Pass holders no longer get Priority!

Today, yet again, told by Aspire in BHX that they are not accepting Priority Pass holders into the lounge as it is pre-booked with empty/reserved tables for on-line/non pass holder bookings!

I understand that it's more profitable to take my annual subscription then refuse my access at busy times to pre sell access to higher last minute bookings - but it's not fair on us loyal subscribers who've been with you for years!

My advice is to cancel your Priority Pass subscription and just pre book on line as and when you need Lounge Access.

User

Priority Pass holder using your BHX lounge for the first time. Entered 30 mins prior to closing so took two bottles from the fridge as they were closing everything down. Returned to table and took my iPhone charger out of my case and before I’d even sat down I was challenged accusingly on suspicion of putting one of the bottles in my bag. Embarrassingly for the older staff member, I pointed to them both on the table. Rather than apologise, she commenced a recital of the rules about taking items out of your lounge (all irrelevant as I wasn’t doing that and a speech best served for someone who was filling their bag?). As she didn’t apologise for her error, anyone would have expected having her made such an incorrect accusation, I told her that I understood and that it was unnecessary what she had said. Again no apology for her (or on behalf of the person near the fridge who clearly made the mistake telling her I was taking a bottle) just a repeat of what she had already said in front of other lounge guests. Pretty shocking service don’t you think Aspire and a bitter attitude from the two old hats on duty? Why couldn’t she simply ask the question first discreetly instead of pointing at my bag and making it obvious what she was accusing me off in from of other customers? If she had, she would have clocked both bottles on the table but she clearly had her mind made up before she approached me. No apology. Should I use No1 Lounges next time I’m in Birmingham?

Obviously cost cutting. Currently at Birmingham airport. Was at Edinburgh last week and the same. Poor menu choice, just one item. Ordered cheese and biscuits and got 4 very small crackers. No butter, no cutlery. Only enough cheese for 3 of the crackers. When asked for more told I was only allowed one item. Very poor. Now don't serve slimline tonic. Great!!! I'm a top member of Priority Pass. Want my money refunded!!!

Don't bother go to others as far better.

Bean counters now running them!!!!°

Need to ‘Aspire’ to be better! Very rude ‘lady’ greeted us, complained our voucher was in Spanish and she couldn’t read it, turned out all she had to do was enter the code number from it. No apology. Miserable looking staff, not professional at all. Area not busy but still tables left uncleared. First and last visit. I’d go to No 1 lounge next time!
