A beautifully restored Georgian town house is the backdrop for a unique independent family-run hotel providing a retreat from the outside world.

Our philosophy is simple. We have set out to create the kind of accommodation we ourselves would like to find hidden in the corner of a great city. Civilised quiet surroundings; old fashioned hospitality; friendly efficient service and all within a short walk of the most important attractions.

Our 6 individually styled and comfortable guest rooms have come in Standard or Superior sizes with luxurious facilities including excellent quality beds, Egyptian cotton linens, digital flat screen tv, free wireless internet and room trays complete with homemade treats. Bathrooms are stocked with luxurious and indulgent Penhaligons’ toiletries.

Originally dating back to the time of Queen Anne this handsome grade II listed residence is set within beautiful Georgian walled gardens. Most of the house is early Georgian with many original features like the wrought iron and oak staircase, marble fireplaces and unusual stained glass.

The public rooms offer different space to relax and entertain.
The Guest's Sitting room with bar is the perfect place to enjoy a unique selection of rare spirits and wines while browsing the collection of art and history books.
The elegant Georgian dining rooms are ideal for entertaining clients or a quiet dinner overlooking the rose gardens and terrace. In winter and at Christmas they are candlelit and take on the air of a country house charm that is rarely seen these days. The whole experience is a little like stepping back in time.
