There's a pool what's not to love

I love it

it's getting better and better everyday ,the only issue that the Bannatyne management should look into its miantance such as in Bathroom and toilets need to be constantly cleaned and eye on .

The only draw back is timings

My visit was with my daughter, she had bought a spa day as a birthday gift for me. It was the first time either of us had been there but would definitely go again. The Spa staff were really attentive to any needs, especially Rochelle!

Not a bad gym but I do agree it could be cleaner!

Just joined and it's going okay at the moment but get the showers sorted out ASAP as it's unacceptable we all pay our membership and the very least we expect is to have fully operational showers !!!

Been a member for over 10 years now..it's convenient to and from work for a workout or swim and have enjoyed classes, but due to my shift work I can never really get to any anymore...it's so much better now a returb has been completed in the main gym and a lick of paint, still needs a little more, but better than it was, run down and tired looking but now new gear to have a more hardcore workout ;-)

My husband and I have just purchased a virgin experience package as a Xmas gift, We then tried to book the Lincoln spa over the phone with a person called Michael on the 0344 number that was provided on the voucher.I am appalled at the way I was spoken to, Michael was not forthcoming in trying to make my customer journey a good one. I was told the schedule for the spa in Lincoln wasn’t available yet (I wanted feb 2018) and what did I expect him to do about???

I do not know what makes more pleasure,to see how someone spits on the floor before going into the pool or to wair at shower untill a so-called gentleman shave his hair(it's cool to be bald),so not even talk about how many times some people get conduse about the sauna,they really think there are showers.Another very interesting thing is to find 2 times gilette in the jacuzzi.Everyone does what they want,it's normal we are living in a free country...

Worst gym I have ever been to. The instructors are always late to the classes. The gym is dirty.



They even forced me to pay 80 pounds for 2 months since im not from the UK, and when I wanted to extend for one more month they required me to pay a new starting fee (and they still wanted more than ”a normal person” since I’m not from the UK, which would have been 55 punds for one month!). Wouldnt recommend anyone to go there.

Went today for second time due to convince for work,, the 1st time the pool sss ice cold and when complained then told was due to Brocken boiler then again 6:35am, the receptionist failed to inform us the pool area was closed after getting changed and down the grotty stairs only to see don't use the step barrier. Communication is shocking there is no friendlyness from staff and no sign to even say sorry pool will be closed.



The pool area should not even be using the Bannatyne name the tiles are all broke in and around the pool the stair rain is a health and safety risk and the hydro pool was filthy with Hairs floating by the steps�your shower area has great big hose pipe on the floor it's disgusting.



I am a member at Sutton one which is 100% better this is not even worth the money if only want pool area can not comment about the gym side but won't be going back

The hot water is not reliable and every day you take a gamble on whether it will be a cold shower day.



The manager’s response is that I should come and tell them when the hot water is not working. So when you see a naked man in the reception you’ll know what’s going on!

And the hire towels are getting smaller and thinner.

Shambolic mess with no concept of customer service.

Terrible service, not friendly staff, swimming pool area dirty, equipment all over the floor, 5 members of staff standing amd takling about people who work out, steam room closed, jacuzzi closed, souna 50 degrees15£ for 1 pass. Newer again. People dont waste your time and money for this place!!!!!

I've been using this for some years now, the showers are forever broken even after just being repaired. The whole place is looking tired, the dryer for costumes is still not repaired and the toilets in the pool area I just wish they would sort. I am really put off going there now.

I hate this place, it’s a filthy poorly maintained dump. Existing members are conned into paying more than new members, corporate greed at its worst. Find somewhere else!

I am not allowed to bring a guest in because I have been a member for to long I don’t see any customer service skills all I asked to do was bring one friend in but I was told I am not allowed I said look I have been a member for a very long time I havent used my gust pass but the guy said rules are rules .

I am not allowed to bring a bike because only stafff can put bikes inside.

I ask for help with gym session but all I get is the personal trainers looking 👀 at the women that are working out.

In accordance to he terms and conditions the gym is Open till 9.30pm on weekdays but they kick you out at 9 with the threats of loosing you’re gym membership.

Same thing happens on weekends gym is meant to close at 5.30pm but they kick every one out at 5 with the threats of loosing membership for the people who don’t comply with the threats.



And last but not least I have seen members of staff standing outside talking to people while they are taking drugs this is an incident that took place right outside the Birmingham queens way gym the worst thing is I was walking in with my friend who I had just made join and they were disgusted.



If any one would like to go to a gym with limited training time, bios and threatening staff who only will help you if you have big boobs then by all means join this gym

DO NOT USE - Poor experience with these guys - I signed up to them after moving up from Oxford as they are in the City Centre and seemed convenient. I started travelling during the week so cancelled my membership online, which was all done automatically. I actually moved bank accounts shortly after so my direct debit information changed over, the Bannatyne one was not changed. Instead of giving me a reminder via email, phone, call, post to pay the final monthly fee - they passed the charges on to a debt collection agency. This is just gross! I would expect to have received communication before this happened, not a good position to be put into. Poor customer service, extremely poor management, and even worse communication!!

After 5 years coming here thinking of leave .

one day you see police here taking out staff .

one day no hot water.



one day no shower .

paying extra for using towels .

so today I have to use pool shower because showers are not working .
