What makes this place so great? Is it the bottle of beer given to fellas as they wait or the popcorn? To be honest these little gimmicks put a smile on your face but it isnt what makes the place stand out.From the get go when you walk through the door your greeted by masculine decor which feels warming and welcoming. Its as though you have stepped into a games room where beer is given out liberally and you feel like your every whim is going to be met. The place feels like a well fitting glove in that its familiar and in no way threatening there is a general good feeling atmosphere.Staff do their bit to add to the general relaxed vibe and greet every customer as they come through the door. Most of the barbers I have been in there has been a general feeling that your part of a production line and your attendance is an inconvenience. There is no such feeling here.



The shop operate a ticketing system, you take your ticket and the number on it corrolates with where you are in the queue. You can end up waiting up to two hours as this place is very popular but your allowed to leave the shop and return later, I went for a beer over the road before returning. Eventually and after another cheeky beer my number came up and I was greeted by my Barber. Sadly I am useless with names (he did introduce himself) but always remember a face and my barber had a distinctive cool neck tattoo. This guy knew his onions and proceeded to not only advise me on what was best for my beard shape but also talked me through each step so I would know how to maintain my beard in the future. Listening in on other Barbers going about their art form it was clear these guys are the crem de le crem. I saw some pretty awsome cutting going on and it made me envious that I could only sport my shaved head due to being follicly challenged.



There was no rushing and my barber was attentative, at no point did I feel like he was rushing to get to the next cut. I can only report that I was consumed in the positive experience that was being effortlesly delivered. I was treated to hot towels and a wet shave and my beard was shaped to perfection. The experience wasnt the cheapest ive paid but in all my travels I have never been happy with the beard trim until now and on occasions I have paid more. I will return even though its a 30 mile trip for me, its not just a trim its an experience. I cant recommend this place enough.

Was super busy yesterday with the bank holiday but the guys stayed past their usual closing, luckily I just made it in time so was last in line. The whole place is on point, wicked atmosphere and the best detail-orientated cut I've experienced. You know when colleagues are complimenting each other's work that they take pride in what they do. Definitely going back again ���

Visited the Harborne branch today, i'm impressed with the time taken to get the best finish. Great decor and atmosphere. I shall definitely return.

Top service by Aaron yesterday. He cut my hair and shaped my beard for my birthday weekend...did an excellent job, very happy with it! He’s full of banter, and along with the rest of the guys they defo make you feel welcome, will certainly be returning! Sunny

Thouroughly enjoyed my visit. Kieren was very helpful and came up with suggestions too for my beard trim. I was a bit wary before going in, I thought it’d be a bit “posery” & “flashy”...but I’m converted! Will definitely be back.

Thank you for transforming my husband! No longer do I need to fear the onset of mushroom head at week 4. The haircuts last twice as long as your average barber cut. He's now very hair and beard proud, can't shut him once you get him started! I also enjoy having some peace and quiet whilst he's off getting pampered, as he's gone at least a couple of hours! I started seeing them when they opened in Jewellery Quarter, never knowing exactly what I want they never cease to amaze me with their broad knowledge of barbering skills. These guys are a must have permanent fixture in every mans life. And not forgetting Beena her skills are second to none in grooming to perfection..

Really awesome place to go, staff are really professional, they consult with you on what you want and try to keep the atmosphere light and friendly and they do all of this really well! First time there, but won't be the last!

I went here for a simple beard trim - 5 minute job? No, hot towels, steamer, cutthroat razor. Literally a perfectionists dream. Can't recommend this place enough. Sure you may have to wait for a chair to open up but this is the place for a spot of manpering!!!

I always have and always will get my haircut here everytime, been getting my haircut here now for atleast 7-8years and I won't go anywhere else. There very professional, friendly and can actually unlike some do there job. Many times ive gone in to them and fancied a change of hairstyle or needed some advice and I've never been let down. Great place, full of characters, busy but you're never ignored while you wait. You're greeted like a mate, treated like a brother and the conversations flow across the room like frothy ale. I felt immediately comfortable, the in-house banter was fun so, whilst it was busy, the time spent waiting for my turn didn't feel unreasonable. Indeed the guys work to get you served as quickly as possible. I had my beard trimmed for the first time in ages and it was done expertly and quickly. I came away feeling that I'd been treated well and I would thoroughly recommend Barberology to all. Thanks!

From the moment i walked in i felt the atmosphere from this amazing shop, enjoyed a coffee from jordan whilest i waited.. Then i was put into a chair, had a great laugh with kieran & had the best haircut ever! thanks again guys!! Ill be back and thanks kieran ive never looked so good

Jack done a first rate job ! The banter is great very young modern feel to the shop.

First time visit to Barberology yesterday. Always anxious when going somewhere new but I was made to feel really comfortable and the team were so welcoming. When asked what kind of style I wanted I was so vague and unhelpful... But Jack knew what would work well and reassured me instantly that he knew exactly what he was doing. The final cut was fantastic and I couldn't have been happier. Thanks to Jack, and Jordan for the friendly ink chat afterwards. Will definitely be back.

First heard of this fine organisation when they requested a follow from my Instagram. I accepted the request and boy am I glad I did!



Went there for the first time today and although I got there less than an hour after the opening time. It was REALLY busy. (Which is a good thing)



Finally got on the chair and explained what I wanted and Kieran (Funny chap) suggested other things and wow, his advice has made me go from what I normally get to what he advised me!



Precise cut and worth the money as there's more than just a haircut, there's jokes, banter and the conversations.

Amazing service, cut my hair after growing it for 15 years. Treated me amazingly well, even had a beer to calm my nerves. Very talented and professional team. My new barbers going forward.

Not the cheapest in town but a really good cut from Jack who put a lot of time and effort to please and I got the impression he new his way around scissors and razor. Washing area and interior decor could do with a lift but a really good barbering experience.
