U17/U18 BOYS (COLTS) DEVELOPMENT EVENING TUESDAY 7TH MAY
Barkers Butts RFC - 7 – 8.30PM
... Warwickshire Colts RFU and local RFU staff will be hosting a Colts Development Evening aimed at all clubs who will have players in the u17 and u18s (colts) age grades next season.
We are keen to support the needs of the clubs, players, parents and coaches involved in rugby at these age grades to provide appropriate competitive playing opportunities.
The evening will be an opportunity for you to discuss and feedback on your needs are around this age group, what you would like from your colts competitions/playing opportunities, what has worked well and what challenges you face.
To help us to do this, it would be great if you are able to bring along some key people to represent the views of your club. These would be: · Players: max. of 4 and ideally a mix of current u16s & U17s who will be U17/18 age grade for 2019 – 20. · Parents of players: max. of 2 and ideally not from the same family, nor part of the coaching / management team. · Team Admin: max of 2 and ideally a Coach, a Team Manager and/or other admin related roles.
This evening is open to any club in Warwickshire who will have u17 and u18 age grade players, not just those with full teams.

🔹🔸Yesterday our 2s bagged a nice 54-0 win against Rugby St Andrews but the happy ending was made even more special by these 3 boys 🔸🔹
Colts Lewis Hall, Akron Rayworth-Brooks and Harry Williams all made it onto the score sheet and together made up one of the youngest back rows on any senior pitch 💙💛💙

We say it all the time but the Club wouldn’t be the wonderful place it is without all our volunteers.
As a special treat, all our Mini and Junior Coaches and team admins are invited to join us on Saturday 30 March from 1pm for a drink and a sausage roll or two before the 1st XV play Rugby St Andrews.

🔹🔸 For all of you who love stats🔹🔸 14 out of 18 of the BBRFC 1st team squad have come through our Mini and Junior section. That’s 77.7%! Fantastic example of a grassroots club doing what a grassroots club does best! Good luck to all our M&J section playing today 🙌🏻

I was there at a motorcycle rally. The staff of yhe rugby club couldn't have been more helpful. The drinks were very reasonably priced and the food was also very good value. I really enjoyed my time at the club and would go back without a moment's hesitation! Yaaay.......
