We have been using Mat, Brady and the team for a long while now, but tonight my taste buds were woken to something I hadn't tried before. The Lamb hotpot was delicious, even the veg in this tasted as if it was just pulled from the field it was that fresh.

Long may the team continue to work so well with each other and local suppliers to bring such a great value for money range.

Valentines special is amazing! The steak is the best I have tasted! Will not buy my steak anywhere else!

Top quality lads and service. As a butcher myself, I travelled to visit and wasn't disappointed. Couldn't keep my hands off the pork pie and I'm keen for the sausage and bacon in the morning! Spot on!

This shop always looks very clean and staff friendly, serving lovely meats, pies , pasties etc. not forgetting filled potato jackets

It’s 5 � tried the new flavour of sausage this morning pork with caramelised red onion it was beautiful and extremely tasty is an understatement top notch

Me and my lad when to get some meat on Saturday and matt gave us a breakfast mushroom to try and it was really nice me and my lad loved it thank you.

Love the sausage, especially the Red Leicester, Pork and Spring Onion ones. The faggots are the best and the pork pie is superb. The meat is local and always good and looking forward to my cockerel at Christmas

Keep going back for the gammon!!! And always pick up something new and delicious each time. Very friendly, helpful staff �

Had a beef Wellington from here and it was absolutely amazing! Boyfriend has never had one before and he loved it! Will definitely be purchasing more and trying other stuff they have to offer! Definitely recommend.

Due to a lucky win on a McMillan coffee morning tombola, I have topped up my freezer with beefburgers, lamb steaks, joint of beef and as a special treat for today a prize winning pork pie. Thank you

Best butchers in town! From the sausages to the rib of beef, it's all been tasty and melt in your mouth. Very good value for money and friendly staff too. We won't be shopping elsewhere again!

Best butchers around with passionate, knowledgeable and friendly staff. It's taken me a good few years to find the perfect butchers to suit me and can confidently say I need not search anymore! I have used bates for almost a year now and my customers always ask where I get the meat. It brings me great pleasure to tell them about Bates.

If your ever unsure about something or are curious about a certain cut of meat etc... Get talking to Matt, he will sort you out!

Best but bucthers round matt and Ash awesome guys not only a bucthers. They keep pushing there self to keep offering different things . Like there sasuges about 20 different flavor as a chef I wouldn't use any other bucther around .

Best Butcher for miles live the lamb chops and steak, No longer eat supermarket meat as it's rubbish compared to Bates Butchers 👍
