I joined Usborne Books at Home as I love the books (I've gained a few more on my children's bookshelves since joining! ) and it allows me the flexibility of working in a way that fits in with and around my family - I sometimes take them along with me!
There is a huge amount of help and support when setting up and on an on-going basis from mentors, fellow organisers and head office, making it extremely easy and fun to run from home.
I particularly like the great personal service we are in a position to offer our customers.

Thank you so so much for doing both my kids 12 day till Christmas books they have loved opening them every day and can't wait for next one until Christmas . The range of books you have chosen for both of them and with such a big age gap are brilliant I couldn't of picked them myself. so you doing it all for me was great and so helpful and a surprise for me as well as the kids. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. The selection of books on display suited all the ages my guests required. Paula was very helpful and everyone enjoyed the evening.
I shall be honest and I was rather dubious about purchasing an 'advent book set' as I myself work for a big publisher so my house is full of books and my daughter has never really taken a huge interest in books much to my dismay . Having met with Paula in her home she showed me the types of books that would me suitable for my daughter who is 2 yrs 9 months and gave me lots and lots of suggestions to try and engage my daughter with reading . I purchased a 12 day set which included the Farmyard tale stories and Phonic reader books. My daughter has absolutely loved opening a book each night and loves to find the duck on each page before mummy ! She has actually been excited to look at a book each night. I hope this continues after Xmas . I thoroughly recommend Paula's service and would most likely purchase another set next Xmas !
