This week our engineers replaced 6x old distribution boards in a local fire station for 2x modern ones which meets all the new regulations. We are currently fitting Surge protection to all new consumer units replacements as standard with no extra fees for domestic installations 👍🏻

A recent consumer unit replacement carried out last week. New 18th edition consumer unit with added surge protection with a new main cable from the isolator.
After a full test was carried out on the property we found a problem on the downstairs lighting circuit. A screw went through the cable causing it to ark and burn. All previous junctions were replaced and a new cable was run. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A before and after of a recent consumer unit changed this week. This was all picked up on a recent EICR we carried out due to the customer having multiple problems with the current installation.
We have now rectified all the issues from no earth to the property, no RCD protection, circuits on over rated fuses and many more issues .
