We moved to Herefordshire in 2004 ..I was looking for a fitness centre but almost gave up after trying a few then my daughter Sarah introduced me to Ben as he was her strength and fitness coach and the Point4 I haven’t looked back Ben sorted out a program for me and with his help patience and encouragement I do 6 classes a week I love it one of the classes Ben takes it is tough I didn’t think in my wildest dreams I could manage to do it but again Ben is a professional it is like having a PT with him attention to detail he is a fantastic coach. I would highly recommend him..Thank you Ben I feel fitter and healthier than I have ... Thank you Ben for always being there to answer all of my questions... By the way I was 70yrs old last July.. age is just a number ... Ben is interested in ALL ages I think I am getting younger ...Thank you again Ben you are a star... long may you continue

My daughter Molly (13) is a competitive Discus thrower and her coach asked me to get some strength and conditioning coaching for her to help with her development. I knew straight away that Ben would be the best person for the job after his training with Josie Pearson who won gold in the 2012 games - couldn't get much better than that!

He is a very patient, kind and enthusiastic coach encouraging her to reach her potential in every session, even when she is finding it hard she still likes him! His knowledge is outstanding and his manner with people of all ages is simply fantastic, he really knows how to connect with people and get the best out of them. Since starting with Ben she has improved ten fold finishing 1st in the West Midlands, 4th in England and 5th in the U.K. at the end of the this season.

I would not hesitate to recommend Ben to anyone who would like to start / improve / compete in their fitness journey.

If it wasn't for Ben, I don't think I would be where I am today! I was terrified of exercise due to suffering from chronic asthma since birth, but with his guidance and support I got fitter and happier, and even gained the confidence to rediscover sport! Ben took time to research my sport (roller derby) to help me improve my skating, strength and conditioning, and was a great support when I was captain of my team and when I was recovering from injury. Although I've since moved away from Hereford, Ben remains a good friend and a great source of help and advice when I need it. Thanks for everything buddy, I couldn't have done it without you. :)

I trained with Ben for 4/5 years while I was playing for the England blind football team. Ben massively help to improve my fitness and strength. I needed to be working hard in every session and Ben made sure that I was doing so. The sessions were always different which kept me on my toes and made me have to think under fatigue which helped with my concentration when playing football. Not only would I recommend Ben to family and friends because he is a top trainer, he is also a top lad.

I had the pleasure of working with Ben in 2 paralympic cycles. In the lead up to London 2012 & Rio 2016. Ben facilitated all my strength and condition needs that complemented my swimming program. The knowledge and attention to detail he put into my individual program was what I needed to win Silver in London and Gold in Rio. Thanks for the support over the years. Ben also happens to be a nice guy it's just a shame he supports Aston Villa ÔøΩ.

Having been to many of Ben's fitness classes and knowing that he knew his stuff, I got in touch with Ben soon after extensive knee surgery after a bad skiing accident to see if he could help me get back to my normal level of fitness. The post surgery physio only got me so far and my fitness levels had plumpted! Feeling very unhappy and unhealthy I booked in for some personal training sessions with Ben. Soon, not only was my knee feeling beyond normal I started to feel like my normal self again. What I didn't appreciate was that it wasn't just my physical health that had taken a hit but also my physiological health! After spending time training hard with Bens structured programmes and his encouragement I was able to get on with life and enjoy all variety of sports and fitness and even ventured out on the ski slopes again! Thanks Ben, you are such a fitness super star!

Ben was my strength and conditioning coach during my time as a England/GB distance runner. Here are some of the key attributes I witnessed in Ben:

3) motivating, reassuring and encouraging me

5) making me laugh and keeping sessions varied

Ben offers an outstanding personal training service whom I’ll fully recommend. He was a huge part of my training program that led me to a Paralympic gold medal at London 2012. If I could give 10* I would.

Ben helped me get really fit within 8 weeks for my first and only white collar boxing match (which I won!). I did boot camp, circuits, spinning and some 1-to1 PT with Ben. I lost 1.5 stone and felt great. He will encourage and push you with some occasional amusing banter . Thank-you very much Ben. I look forward to working with you again in the new year on my next venture.

Ben has been my personal trainer on and off for a good 7 yrs or so. He has helped and motivated me with training for mud runs, half marathons, and just general weekly strength and conditioning workouts which have been particularly tailored to my requirements e.g. shoulders and upper body. He has always pushed me to the max, but in a good way, always cheerful and patient. If I have been unable to complete a set of reps he will always adapt the exercise so I never feel a complete failure!! I have never felt self conscious having my trainer stand and watch me whilst carrying out exercises, the advantage being that Ben can pick you up on minor posture issues or offer words of encouragement when you feel you have given it your all. I always come away from my PT sessions feeling on top of the world, knowing that I have given it my all and got the endorphins flowing.

He is very professional and his sessions are fun and never the same and each week I look forward to seeing what he has planned.
