We had a very nice relaxing couple of days here - the restaurant was excellent, the house martins quite spectacular, staff friendly and helpful, place has lots of history which you can barely read on the wall in dark corridors, lots of character and very comfortable. Pool was lovely we thought. Nice wee church was interesting too and it is very handy for Stratford on Avon and Hidcote Manor and other places of interest. Topiary good and hanging baskets splendid.

User

Me and my wife got married at this wonderful hotel on the 30/3/18. We had the time of our lives and was such a special and memorable day made perfect my the beautiful grounds the fantastic decor the super helpful staff on the day and leading up to our special day and the food was out of this world. They did us proud. Highly recommended by us if you want the perfect day and a stress free one go here. We are glad we did. Stuart and Charlotte Smith

User

Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds, food lovely and staff very friendly would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

User

Just returned from spending two nights at this delightful hotel and spa. A Mother’s Day Groupon gift from our son Jonathan.

It is situated just a few miles from Stratford. We spend a day in Stratford and used the excellent Park & Ride service.

We received a warm and friendly welcome from the reception staff before proceeding to Room 21 on the ground floor, and right next to the spa and pool.

A very nicely decorated room with a very large and comfortable bed. The ‘complimentary’ bottle of sauvignon cabernet was appreciated by my wife. The room was well furnished and the bathroom and shower excellent. A net curtain for the window would be ideal and provide a degree of privacy when curtains open.

The three-course dinner in the evening was very tasty and well presented. Dining room staff were very efficient and attentive.

We enjoyed the buffet-style breakfast and there was certainly enough variety for us. Once again the staff were very friendly and efficient.

We enjoyed strolling around the lovely grounds when we were not relaxing in the pool area.

We would certainly wish to return to this hotel in sunnier times.

User

Just had the most fabulous spa day at Billesley. All the staff were so friendly and helpful (Andy and the chap in the bar/restaurant whose name I didn’t get) and treatments were amazing (a special thank you to Tammie, you made me feel wonderful!). The “light” lunch was loads and lovely! Wonderful day and I can’t thank everyone enough for taking away all my stresses.

User

Got married here on 10th November 2017.

Amazing, all the staff was really friendly and always quick to help, food for the hole day was A* wouldn’t of changed anything best day of my life, thank you to all the staff.

User

Fantastic night away last night. Staff were so attentive, food delicious and ambience gorgeous. The hotel is stunning inside and out. Only a short stay but we will definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful gardens and the spa facilities.

User

Absolutely amazing hotel and staff. The staff helped my fiancé prepare and set up the room ready for him to propose which was stunning and couldn’t of been any better. We didn’t stay in for dinner however we did have breakfast the next morning which I highly recommend,a lot of choice and the staff were on hand for all your needs. We would like to say a massive thankyou to all the staff especially Candis who made it perfect for us.

User

Went to Billesley yesterday with my sister for the gin festival. We had a lovely afternoon, slightly too hot for us but nothing the hotel could do about the weather! They did provide a table with iced water which we had inbetween gins! A good selection of local gin companies not many gave tasters tho which I've had at similar events elsewhere. Sebastians sauasage were great but thought they could have had plain sausage for those that didn't like the fancy flavours. The music from Andrew James was excellent. Overall we had a very pleasant afternoon relaxing in the sun and shade listening to great music in a beautiful setting

User

Pleasant Sunday lunch with good service, albeit a rather limited menu.

User

Lovely hotel, room was spacious and comfortable. Only thing I would say is the food quality is poor for the price. Had fish and chips and it wasn’t fresh, you could tell it was frozen which sadly let it down!

User

Loved the manor house spa day, with my daughter, spa staff are lovely, food, grounds beautiful.bit expensive for example 2 lemonades in glasses £4.20.But the bar staff guy was lovely..changing rooms in spa need refurb.kids shouldnt be allowed in when its adult spa days to be honest.kids shouldnt go in steam rooms and saunas.still loved it though

User

Just home from a night away at Billesley Manor. Such a lovely place and setting. Staff couldn't do enough for you, very helpful and friendly. We ate in the bar on the evening. I had a lovely chicken Caesar salad with chips. My husband had a burger which he wasn't too impressed with unfortunately. Also quite over priced! £17 for quite a basic burger.

Nice breakfast this morning and a lovely sleep last night.

Thank you

User

Had a lovely spa day yesterday especially the treatments and the lunch that were included could not fault them.Only thing to say is the changing rooms weren’t very clean plus there was only one shower with hot water one was one of order and the other was cold. A recommendation would be to install a shower by the treatment rooms for those who have treatments to use instead of having to share the main ones.

User

Fantastic looking hotel, lovely staff and food

Just little things didn’t make it 5 stars. Ramp for disabled access inside stopped on step 1 of 2, waitress called my starter whatever this is I’d ordered, glass of water was taken away as something was floating in it but waiter never came back with a replacement, waitress went to the wrong table with our mains, returning 5 minutes later, lamp not working in the room, offered Salmon on toast when I’d ordered vegetarian sausage and finally given a table at breakfast. We went to get food, came back and someone else was now sat at our table

The table, ramp and lamp issues are made worse due to the fact my partner is visually impaired and uses a stick. She went back to the table as I was getting her food to find someone else sat there

All of these were not terrible but just took away that little bit of glitter from a fantastic destination

I think it just needs a little more organisation to be 5 star

User

Beautiful place with wonderful gardens. We were there for a wedding fayre however the service let it down for us. We went to order teas and coffees from the bar and were rudely told to come back as the till needed sorting. When we finally managed to order our drinks took a long time coming and my pot of tea was cold had to ask for a fresh pot and treated rudely again!!

Yet the staff were falling over customers who were actually staying at the hotel.

Would not go back due to the service given.

User

BILLESLEY is a fantastic venue, but it did feel that my daughters wedding was just another wedding to them. On the final meeting 18days before my daughters wedding, we were told to contact the stationers to order all the stationary, apparently this should have been done 2weeks before that, so there was a rush with several emails back and forth to get all the details to them, Kelly was brilliant and got it all done on time. I found a member of the office staff at Billesley to be rude and patronising when I questioned why the wedding cake was left in a very warm back office after it had been delivered over 2hrs earlier by myself, I also checked again 4hrs later and the receptionist said the cake box was still in the office, I asked again for it to be stored correctly in a cool place, he went to ask the chef, on his return, he said the chef has told him not to question him, where he stored wedding cakes, no one in the place came to reassure me. I made a request at reception for a early breakfast for the bride and bridesmaids before they left for a hair appointment, I was told it would be done, but on the morning, kitchen staff were not aware of the request. I have tried to speak to someone over the phone, regarding lost property, but no return of calls, very annoying. Sorry but would not recommend.

User

We were meant to be staying today for our 13th Wedding Anniversary and they have double booked!!!

We received confirmation of our booking a month ago. Less than 5 hours before we were due to book in we found out - thank goodness we found out before traveling two hours down there.

Absolutely appalling customer service! Just offered us 'another date' no proper apology. Disgusted, they are blaming Groupon and saying it isn't their problem. Groupon are saying that it is the hotel who are at fault.

Thank you Billesley Manor Hotel for ruining our Wedding Anniversary!

User

This is the worst nights stay I have ever had in any hotel. Party until early hours with guests screaming and shouting in corridors until 4am. No reception staff to call. There is a night porter who is also the chef so you cannot get hold of him so you end up having to sort any problems out yourself e.g. Telling other guests at 4am that screaming and shouting outside your room when you are trying to sleep is disrespectful and to please shut up. That's the hotel managers job only there isn't one here until the morning. Very very poor. Not a secure hotel and not equipped to deal with any issues or emergencies. Uncomfortable bed, stains on carpet (probably from previous party goers), cracked tiles in bathroom. Very very poor. Plenty of lovely hotels in England. This isn't one of them. Choose somewhere else!!!
