Hi all,
Due to the enormous amount of interest in our pre-school classes, we are having to close the waiting list for this age group again.
This age group is for girls and boys 18months to 4 years and not in full time education. If your daughter or son is in this age bracket then we will try to re-open the list soon. Sorry for any inconvience.

Great news!!!
All our waiting lists are now open for both girls and boys. All years including pre-school, however the only lists that can not be open is for children born in 2014 and 2011 due to high numbers.

We would just like to thank everyone for your overwhelming support , as you can imagine the last couple have days have been stressful and upsetting for many members of staff .
So the support we have had from parents/gymnasts and the public has been amazing and we are so grateful.

Dear members ,
Birches valley will be appearing on the local bbc news later today 9th November . We would like to say that this story has been made by a member of the public who rang up to enquire about getting her son into the club.
... Unfortunately it has been a misunderstanding as we at the time we’re not aware of his age and assumed he was above the age of 4 . Where as you all know we can’t accommodate for boys due to the equipment and coach’s qualification we have at the club.
It turns out this little boy is 2 and we have now been made aware that we can accept both girls and boys into our pre-gym classes from 18months old to 4 . We were unaware of this up until now when we have been in contact with British gymnastics , as of immediate effect our policy has now been updated and we can accept both girls and boys into pre-gym. Unfortunately the waiting list is still closed for this age group as we have over a 2 year waiting list as it’s so popular but as and when it re-opens we will gladly accept both boys and girls.

We would like to thank all our members for their support and we hope this doesn’t cloud anyone’s view on what a success the gym has been over the last 8 years. Where we have grown from 50 members to over 650.
The club is here to provide a fun learning environment for children of all ages but continues to specialise in women’s artistic gymnastics.

Unfortunately we have had to close our waiting list for girls born from 2017 up to and including 2012 . This is due to high numbers on our waiting list and we don’t want gymnasts waiting too long for a space . We are working through our waiting lists at the moment and we hope to re-open the list soon .
