'Late Shakes' - a season of performances created by the BOA Year 12 Acting students of William Shakespeare’s later plays. From a post-apocalyptic ‘Measure for Measure’, through a David Bowie inspired ‘The Tempest’ on Wednesday 11th July, ending on a Kardashian-meets-Coalition ‘Antony and Cleopatra' and a selection of student directed dystopian performances on Thursday 12th July. Abridged, but not diluted; expect frenetic physical theatre, blistering characterisation as the language and worlds created by Shakespeare are dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century. 11th & 12th July @ The Old Rep

I was on the dance course 2012-2014. Boa is the place to be! This school allowed me to get on to all my desired dance degree courses and I was lucky enough to meet some amazing and enthusiastic people who are now my closest friends, along the way. The staff have all worked in the industry and share their personal experiences with their pupils to prepare them for their future career. I recommend this academy to anyone who aspires to be successful in not only the performing arts sector, but also the digital arts.

Came to see my daughters’ brother dance last night in the year 13 production ‘once’. It was absolutely amazing! My twin girls were amazed at not only seeing their big brother Nathaniel but at the costumes and choreography. They were on the front row and kept up with the storyline. Fabulous evening out seeing so much talent in one place. So proud of his achievements and those of the young stars last evening. Well done to everyone
