We had a lovely time on Sunday lunch, the food was very good & the staff could not do enough for you. I had booked a table for 4 but there were 7 altogether & they managed to accommodate us all. Thank you we will be back

Visited on a Saturday night, we booked so our table was available. The place was comfortably busy so I’m not sure you would get a table as a walk in off the straight. Very pleasant staff and the food was fabulous, would definitely recommend a visit and will be returning again.

This is my favourite place to eat in Birmingham. The staff are always very pleasant and professional and the food is of excellent quality. I particularly enjoy the superb value gastro evenings.

This is a lovely restaurant right on the canal but entrance in Gas Street.



Food amazing been 3 times now and it’s faultless.

I had the Vietnamese beef, as a starter was so flavoursome and excellent, would thoroughly recommend.

For mains I had the beef bourguignon which comes with roast new potatoes and roast veg. Delicious highly recommend. 10/10

There was a wide variety of choice on the menu the food was excellent. There was 14 people and we expected the service to take a little longer but it didn't every dish was well represented and tasted amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble will definately be going again soon I can't recommend it highly enough.

Table for 2 , food before a show. Have often walked past and thought how inviting it looked. The staff were fantastic from the start. It was very busy and very tardis like but we didn't have to wait for any length of time. We shared a couple of appertisers ( try the whole clove of garlic with bread & oils) and then both enjoyed the roast beef. Cooked to perfection. A bottle of wine and coffee rounded off a lovely meal. Fantastic value, great atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, great food - we will most definitely return. Thank you very much.

Our first visit and thoroughly enjoyed it! Food and service excellent... my only slight complaint is that the tables are slightly too close to each other for comfort...

My wife and I visited on Saturday 26th of May following a recommendation. We had three courses with a bottle of red wine. All the food was very tasty, great ambiance, would definitely recommend.

My second visit here and another lovely lunch. Ate here last year with 2 girlfriends and Love day it so much came back with my husband this weekend.

Food absolutely delicious, service could not be faulted and a great view over the canal on a crisp winter day.

My favourite restaurant by far. Great food, great atmosphere, great value for money. And very generous rewards points system. Thank you in advance for my birthday bottle of wine!

Lunch with friends and it was Brilliant, lovely food, staff were great and very good value for money

I can’t recommend this restaurant more. Excellent food lovely surroundings, over looking the canal but what really makes it wonderful are the staff. Attentive, accommodating each with their own personal flair to enhance your experience.

Oh and did I say great food too!

Excellent value for money, superb setting, can’t fault anything about the menu or venue or staff. I’ve introduced so many people to BP, and will continue to do so. Don’t ever change. The fix price menu is your USP!

Excellent food all three courses were delicious. In a wonderful surroundings. Service was excellent from very pleasant staff. Amazing value for money. Can't wait to go back. Would highly recommend this restaurant

We had a lovely meal yesterday to celebrate our Pearl Wedding. We were at table of 25 and the orders came out proficiently with staff using our guest name , which did help with the delivery of the meals.

The food was lovely, the service was efficiently and very friendly .

I am so pleased that I choose Bistrot Pierre for our celebration it was GREAT !!!

Overall a really wonderful meal for 10 people for a birthday celebration. The place, decor and atmosphere and were fab and the staff really lovely. 8/10 of us loved our meals but the two that had the roast beef were sorely disappointed - the beef was so grisly in parts that the knife couldn’t cut it. It was mentioned and staff did offer a replacement meal but was too late by then. They gave us one free desert by way of a sorry which wasn’t much of a compensation really when it was two spoiled mains. Overall though I really liked it there and would go back again and thought th menu was well priced

Excellent service as soon as we entered the building. All staff were friendly and attentive. We were a table of 6 very particular ladies, celebrating a birthday and we are real food enthusiasts! All our requests were met by our wonderful waitress Aphra, she made an extra special effort to make us feel welcome and happy with our experience, quite possibly the best waitress iv ever had while dining out, she is a real assett to the place! The main courses didnt blow us away but we would all definately return and try the other selections. Overall great value for money, cosy decor, nice views, clean toilets, great service.

Was very dissapointed yesterday as went to your Birmingam restaurant, as my beef was awful so stringy and looked unpalatable when starting to cut it did have a check back but the piece of beef was fine at the time but the rest I just gave up ,Did mention it to waiter he said will speak to to chef but no one came back then bumped into waiter on our way out he said nothing wrong with it a bit overcooked as it was a large piece of beef it looked worse!!!!Was dissapointed that he never returned while we were at the table the rest of the meal was lovely.
