What a great weekend we all had at Bleathwood. Paddy and Rosemarie are amazing people and couldn't be more welcoming. The pods are lovely and clean ( no spiders) with great views from each pod. Bedding is provided. Each pod has a kettle , tea and coffee provided as well. And if you don't like sitting around the fire pit or bbq's just pop next door into Brennan's ....which is a fantastic brand new on site bar. What more could you ask for. Highly recommended. 🖒🖒🖒

We're just back from a fab weekend at Bleathwood Lodges! As a group of 4 couples we stayed in 4 of the Glamping Pods. The pods had everything you'd need for a weekend away, they were spotless, nicely decorated, kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate, enough plug sockets to charge phones and use hairdryers and straightners and then a lovely little touch was a gorgeous cake left for us in each pod! The BBQ and fire pit were spot on, perfect for our group to drink, eat and socialise, we had everything we needed. We pre-ordered the breakfast and BBQ packs that were all locally sourced by Paddy the owner and were so tasty and took the hassle out of sorting out our food when we got there! Theres near by pubs/shops and on the last night we had a takeaway delivered to site. The toilet and shower facilities were great and very close to the pods themselves! Theres even an on site Pub; Brennans Bar which was just fab, this site really does tick all the boxes and they do it all so well! Last but not least, the owner Paddy definately made our trip. He could not do enough for us and treated us like we were his own family, he goes above and beyond and clearly hospitality is one of his many brilliant traits!

We just got home from a 3 night stay, we booked very last minute for a treat for my birthday. The whole place exceeded our expectations. Truly beautiful, the dogs loved it too. Paddy was lovely, and we followed his tips for things to do. We had the whole place to ourselves, and it was a perfect relaxing retreat.

We have just returned from an amazing weekend at Bleathwood Lodges! I planned the weekend away for a surprise my husband's 30th birthday! I was emailing Paddy prior to our visit and nothing was too much trouble! He made us extremely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure my husband and our party of 32 had an amazing stay!! Thank you for a making it a weekend to remember!

Visiting Bleathwood Lodges was like visiting family. We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble for Paddy and his team on site, which was spotless throughout.



Paddy was the best host we could have asked for and he tends to everything personally. There were quite a few of us in our group and we all descended into his bar for breakfast after our first nights stay and within minutes we all had our breakfasts exactly how we wanted them, no mushrooms on yours? No trouble!



The facilities are great, plenty of space for everyone in the communal kitchen and the shower facilities were spacious too.



Would I go back? In a heartbeat, and I'd be more than happy to take the kiddies too next time!

The most amazing experience, I was so lucky to win an amazing two night stay in these gorgeous lodges! Nothing was ever too much, Liz and Paddy made us feel like family. Truly an experience I will never forget, thank you so much from both me and my mum! Xx

Myself and my family had a lovely weekend glamping recently. It was our first time and both myself, husband and children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The outdoor Bbq area was is a nice touch and we were lucky enough to have the weather to use it. Paddy was the perfect host and really looked after us through our stay...even the children loved listening to his stories.

We loved it so much we have booked the whole place out for a family party in May, thank you Paddy can’t wait for our next visit �

Just back from an amazing weekend with friends and family. I cannot praise this place highly enough. Lodges were perfect and beds were really comfortable. Kitchen, showers and toilets were clean and spacious. Firepit and bbq area was brilliant. Paddy was a great host and bent over backwards to make sure we had the best weekend. Thank you so much and we will see you again soon �

If you are looking for a Glamping experience I would recommend here, bit of a drive but well worth it. Paddy, Rosemary & family are the perfect hosts. The pods were very clean & tidy, the area so very quiet & amazing countryside. We had a gorgeous home cooked curry & a complimentary fried breakfast given to us for our anniversary. Nothing was to much to ask for & we were made to feel so special & welcome by everyone......

Amazing place run by an amazing family.

I highly recommend this place it is perfect the accommodation is amazing and in a beautiful location too. After spending the weekend with group of 14 lads on a stag doo. We had the best time lush breakfast cooked by the owner paddy who is such a great bloke and will do any thing to accommodate your needs. With good facilities and not to mention the bar/club house which is spot on. Friendly staff a fire pit and bbq area what more could you ask for.

I have just come back from Bleathwood Lodges, after spending the weekend there, celebrating my Uncle’s 60th. Paddy & all the staff are absolutely fantastic, couldn’t recommend it enough. Brilliant weekend away with the family, will definitely be coming back x

I can't praise this place enough it is truly beautiful. Spent 3 nights here for a chilled weekend away. The lodges are stunning little escapes with very comfortable beds. They are very private as they are well spaced and staggered frontages. The owners couldn't do enough for us which included dropping us to the local town when we went for a meal and picked us up after. We made use of the BBQ and fire pit with all the utensils there to use. The toilet and shower facilities where clean and regularly attended.

It's the perfect place to escape and enjoy blissful peace and quiet while having local towns and sites to visit. We will be returning later in the year for our anniversary

Fantastic place for a quiet getaway. Paddy Brennan has done an amazing job here - beautiful little wooden pods in the middle of tranquility - and a perfect holiday break for dog owners. Will certainly be back!
