Carrie here has been with us since May last year. After coming from Morgans Shrewsbury with a ton of bar experience it was no surprise that she learn’t our menu, as well as our long list of popular cocktails that you all love, off by heart in a matter of weeks. Seeing how well she took on this challenge, it came to no surprise when she quickly grew through the ranks into her current position of Supervisor. Carrie is now one of our top bartenders, and is committed to consistency! Carrie is pictured here sipping on “The Courage of the Carajillo”, a cocktail named after her nickname “Courage”.

had a lovely time last night..a rare night out for wedding anniversary....Blind Tiger was the first place we thought of...great place..great atmosphere..fantastic cocktails....great staff....well recommended

What an absolutely fantastic day yesterday! Even though I got beaten by the love child of Bobby Fisher Phil Good at Chess. So on a hot day we were in the shade with the nicest of people ever looking after us. Rosie and Tom and all the staff at The Blind Tiger are amazing.



What makes this place so great? The staff, all look happy to be working there. Everyone is super busy but smiling and laughing while working. You NEVER have to wait for a refill, eyes are on our glasses as they scurry past delivering cocktails to others. The music is quirky and fun, the decor the same. Tom and the team have got customer service spot on I love this place!!

What a lovely friendly place, staff are so attentive + always smiling. It was so good having drinks brought to us instead of queueing up at the bar. Will definitely be back again when we are next in Shrewsbury X

Went last night and I'm visiting from Brooklyn in NYC- and the drinks and atmosphere could definitely give my local cocktail bars in the city a run for their money. Great bartenders who really care about the drinks they're serving, all done with extreme care and intricacy. Well done, will be back tonight!

Spotted this place while passing by the sign outside got us to go in " coffee or cocktail you decide" we where blown away what a great joint we loved the board games dotted about and diffrent ages groups playing and chatting to each other the popcorn that came around for free was awsome , staff really friendly and helpful, it was clean and we'll maintained and choice of drinks out of this world great place to pass some time and play some games �

Popped in yesterday before meeting friends for a meal and stayed for 2 hours!!Love, love this place, staff very friendly and attentive, atmosphere brilliant.Such a fantastic quirky place and the cocktails were superb!!Thanks for making our evening even more fun! !

Popped in for late night drinks with my husband during the week and the welcome was warm ( not always easy late night during the week ) the bar was packed so a fab atmosphere and the service was just perfect, enough attention but not too much. I think my cushions even got a little plump while i popped out . Thanks blind tiger , our time together is limited and we chose well �

Lovely atmospheric place to have a drink. Great music, attentive bar staff, love the new extension. One of my favourite places in shrewsbury.

Great old building with a lot of history, I worked they as Stan jones cycles for 20 years , so when it was changed to blind tiger I was fascinated to see what they would do . And it doesn't disappoint, brilliant staff nice cocktails.. not my thing so also a good selection of craft beers and lager . Would recommend to anyone

Fab experience and well dealt with a gent who was rather "OTT" and fab rum cocktail that made for a great experience

Absolutely fabulous! Quirky drinks menu, exciting drinks choices. Hubby loved sitting in the bath. Enjoyed playing scrabble. Very relaxed atmosphere - I took my shoes off and lolled on the bench with all the cushions.

Absolutely amazing! Wanted a bar where we could chill out, listen to music, and drink cocktails. Atmosphere was great. Staff and service at table excellent. We will definately return when in Shewsbury again. Thank you fir a great night!

Love Blind Tiger and have been on a few occasions and would have given them a 5. However this time there appeared to be some skimping on the cocktails. Bar was busy yesterday following the Shrewsbury GP we ordered 4 Mojito's when received we all noticed that there was a lack of liquid and more ice used. don't skimp on quality when busy and retain your good reputation 😁

Eclectic mix of customers and a good vibe in this place. Seemed strange playing Jenga whilst sitting in a bar knocking the beer back - all good fun though.

I went to the Blind Tiger for the first time tonight with a friend. I really enjoyed my cocktail but did find the bar was extremely dark. This isn't a great place to visit if you are visually impaired or struggle with your eye sight.

Really sad to say yesterday this bar really let is self down. I asked for an aviation and when it arrived the cocktail was drowned in lemon juice. So much so it was undrinkable. When I complained I was met by both barmen's patronising comments as they tasted it. "It's an Aviation. Have you not had one before?" I said I couldn't taste the violet. So they tried it again. Raising eyebrows "well we can taste it" pushing the glass back at me. Where is the customer service. So we left. Foolish because for the sake of offering to correct one drink they lost 4 peoples custom for the whole evening and any chance of a repeat visit . . .
